Do WE have anything else? A quick check down, a slant something? I have never seen anything but a delay handoff up the gut on that audible.

It will confuse the hell out of the opposition and by the time the dust settles the defence will have declared their alignment and Romo can run the play as intended without worrying about the pres snap reads and the rest of the noise teams are so apt to put into the game nowadays.

But Omaha isn't the audible from what Colinsworth was saying, Omaha means go on the next snap count and a lot of teams use it, including the Colts. Kill is the audible which Romo uses to check out of the play when there's a blitz.

Omaha is used for snap count purposes by a many different QBs (both Peyton and Eli use it). It has nothing to do with audibles.

'Kill' just means they're killing the play call in the huddle and going with an audible. I know one of their audibles is the draw/delay up the middle, but they also have pass plays that I've seen used after a 'kill'.

Omaha means "opposite" or running the play to the other side from what I've heard, and "kill" means Romo is killing the play called in the huddle and going with a 2nd play.

Our passing game sucks in general. Teams just press our receivers, knowing they can disrupt their routes, which are long developing. By the time they are where they are suppose to be, Romo is running for his life.Passing game equals atrocious...
