When it happens..the Interim shoud be?

I've never heard his name mentioned once....but IMO I think Ray Sherman should be the Interim HC. Garrett has enough to worry about on his plate.

Sherman seems to have the respect of the players, but will also hold them accountable. IMO I think he would make a fine HC. He's been an Offensive Coordinator, and has years of experience working with high profile "Diva's".

His current position would allow him to still manage that, and be the HC. This team doesn't need a yeller and screamer.....we've had that! We need a CEO.

What a lot of people are missing is this is the "ME Generation". Most of these players are young and are starving to be told what to do. A perfect example is Martellus Bennet, who you saw in Hard Knocks. It's almost like they need to have there hand held at times, then stroke there ego's, and then tell them when they mess up!

Again, IMO I think he would do a fantastic job....he seems to have what it takes, and I think the players will follow him.

And who said as an OC??? Just because you are a good OC/DC does not make you a good HC. It's about managing people....and to me I think that is where are lot of fans are wrong.

you want gratham whom is in charge of the defensvie line, where there is no big time sacks coming from the players, take away ware and tell me where the sacks are coming from, there should be more sacks, but there sure isnt

and the cowboys are getting gashed on running plays, and you still want gratham as defensive coordinator, i dont see it,

Sherman was an average to below average OC. If he does not excell at a coordinator's spot, why promote him?


I understand that success at a coordinator position does not mean equivalent success (or more) at the HC position. But like any company, you have to work your way UP. If he was a average coordinator, demoted no less, than what has he done to deserve promotion to HC. Because he yells at Lowber and the other scrub WRs??? Because he is nice and has a great relationship with T.O.???? If Sherman was able to develop Lowber, Stanback, Crayton, Hurd or Austin into legitimate #2 WRs then MAYBE he would be EVEN CONSIDERED for the HC spot (ie Sparano assisting in calling the offense last season). The fact is, he did nothing to improve the WRs from last season, Jerry still had to outside of the house to bring in Roy Williams from Detroit (and Sherman could not even get Roy ready to play, in an offense Roy is already familiar with).


Bottom line, Sherman does not deserve the opportunity, because he has done nothing to earn it.

Because he isn't Stewart or Campo and he isn't one of Wade's guy's. Who else is there?
