Well, fans and public relations run the whole business. Publicly outting discord between the player and the teams will create pressure on the business model. Just as you’re agitated enough to create this post about it, people are negatively affected when a player does this, and the team can’t like that.But these players don't mean it, it's to get their attention, you can't get it another way???
Every time I can think of that a player did it, it worked right into their favor. Whether it’s Deebo Samuel getting his deal in training camp last year when SF indicated they wouldn’t give him one, or AJ brown getting traded to his BFF’s team… it’s tens of millions of dollars that’s being bickered over. 2 weeks of social media turmoil is a small price to pay.
There’s now a precedence to keep doing it, because it works great
