For one, let's give the man a chance, let's see how he manages this offense AND if the Cowboys lose the first couple of games with Rush as our QB, lets judge those loses for how competitive the Cowboys offense was in those games. What we've witnessed to this point is Prescott is gun shy and this last game not one of his passes were actually on target, they were all over the place forcing his targets to make some circus catch which allowed the tacklers to abuse the hell out of them. I believe this is how CeeDee got injured, the catches he caught didn't allow him to shake or breakdown his tackler, he had had to stop in his route reach back or over his head or had to go low to make his catches. Once he caught those passes defenders were on him immediately and slamming him into the turf, he didn't have any chances to defend off anyone and gain value yards after the catches.

Nobody actually thinks Rush is a savior, unless he had an arm to throw downfield. Dak was never a savior either…. And he got paid 60 million a year for not being one..

I agree that Dak wasn't worth 60 million. He's a capable QB if you have the right pieces around him which they don't. They paid him like an elite top 3 QB in the league that can put a team on his back which we all know is not the case except for the idiot GM.
Jerrah backed himself in a corner and had no plan B. They should have been looking at QB's in the draft the last 3 years so if Dak wanted to break the bank they could trade him or let him walk. Now they are stuck with a huge cap hit on an average to slightly above average QB which you can find for a lot less.

Actually the defense led the team at that time, and it was 4-1 with Rush starting, not 5-1. In the 4 wins the defense held opponents to 13 points a game and got ton of turnovers and sacks.
