And you dont recognize this team because its playing all-star caliber.

Just wanted to let you know, I called it right here. TR is the man. He makes everyone around him better....yes, even JG.

It doesn't matter because this gutless team couldn't hold down the fort just a little bit while he's been out. Regardless what Romo does is too late,

I think Romo will win more games than he loses when he comes back, however, EVERY game will basically be a playoff game. It will be tough.

Anything is possible.

It's a broken record, however, they MUST win the Tampa game next week.

Romo is going to have a target on his back, I don't think he'll finish the season.

Is this some sort of an attempt at nobility? One last, desparate "we'll get 'em next time"? Another failed rallying cry?

What exactly are you "calling"? That this team might actually find a way to win a game?

I'm not one to declare the season is over because anything can happen and no one knows the future because it is unwritten yet. But what evidence is there that this remotely has a chance of happening? What has the coaching staff offered without Romo? Can they even assemble the right players to put on the field? Can the defense buy a turnover? Can the team make a play when it matters?

If the ultimate goal of a football season is to win a Super Bowl which is what the expectation was for this team, it is entirely unfair to burden Romo with the expectation that when he comes back the team can win all their games and squeak into the playoffs AND win four straight games in the playoffs. Of course, he'll be a "choke artist" when he can't pull off the near impossible and cover the deficiencies elsewhere.

He is calling it. You know. "It". Book it.

When this team looks like beastmode and all the "bench", "release", and "cut" whiners are silenced.

I thought that way in 2007, 2008, 2009 or so...but mature romo doesnt find winning a "burden".

I'm Tony's biggest fan and I have full faith in him as always.

And that does "WHAT" for us?? 7-9..8-8.

This may be a defining point in Tony Romo's legacy. Absent winning a SB, the best way for Romo to finally establish himself as an elite QB in the eyes of his detractors would be to win 6 or 7 games coming back from injury after the team laid a great big goose egg in his absence. If this team were to go 8-8 or 9-7 and Romo was the QB for every win, there would be no denying the value Romo brings to this team. Even the Patriots, GB, steelers and the Colts were able to win games when their elite QBS missed time. If Romo comes back and the Cowboys win 6 or 7 games, even if they miss the playoffs, Romo should be the in the lead for NFL MAP.

I don't want Romo "beasting". Let him go to Cabo and get away from this disaster. Flush Garrett and do a real rebuild next year and let Romo have his last season or two without the guy who ruined his career.
