This team has all the talent it needs to win. But our coaches always let us down.


I was just trying to think when was the last time you felt you watch a Cowboys game and felt we out coach the other team.

It seems like when we win its because we just have better talent.

Off the top of my head. I cant remember the last time. This goes back to Parcells. We saw Parcells get outcoached.

I would say we have either built comfortable leads against poor teams or we have survived games for wins.

I cant remember when Wade/Garrett actually countered anything to win the game.

I disagree. Our receivers are poor and we lack enough depth along our DL to finish games.

We never really seem to have a gameplan devised to capitalize on another teams weaknesses, maybe cause we're too busy trying to mask our own weaknesses.

and we almost lost that to backup Rodgers, Favre came out slinging it hoping to get his first career win in Texas Stadium, which he still does not have. Favre had the worst qb rating of his career and the Packers main style of offense was to spread it wide and run slants, they didn't do this they went deep repeatedly getting sacked and throwing ints. When Rodgers came in and they reverted to their actual offense they torched us. It's sad how bad our offensive coordinator is just watching the games and the play calls it puts me in the mind state of disbelief. Yesterday is the first time I didn't watch or follow an entire Cowboys game in years... sad

By the way, you can coach all you want, but someone has to execute. Those passes Romo threw four feet over the heads of Williams & Austin were open, you just have to throw a catch-able ball. Those slants to Hurd should have been thrown MUCH sooner. When you throw a slant over the middle, it gives the CB too much time to recover, which a great one like Bailey did. Still WAY too many stupid penalties by the offense, also.

I don't remember what year but it was at Philly and we came out slinging which was a surprise at the time. We built a huge lead early and won easily. It was a while ago for sure. Might have been Bledsoe years.

we never have any advantage, it's like our coaches don't believe in using film from previous games of a team to prepare for them. we go out with the same trash game plan every single weekend. our offense is A JOke

Yeah Parcells was so great at outcoaching the other team. Like that time against Seattle when they had Pete Hunter the insurance salesman playing corner... we took complete advantag...er wait, no.

Bills First year with the cowboys was his best coaching and the most heart the cowboys have shown in years IMO.

We had inferior talent and instead of under achieving we over achieved.

Now things went down hill from there but his first year with the Cowboys and what he did with that team was pretty amazing IMO.

We also seen a little of that with the dolphins last year (although he was not the HC) and we also see how they are doing this year.

Either way, that seemed to be the last time and over a longer haul not just one game IMO.
