All involving teams that are rebuilding, which, again, is a scenario I mentioned as the exception.

The irony that you worship the Patriots and expect everyone else to do the same is not lost on me.The irony.
Was referring to high 1st round picks (or even lower 1st rounders to a lessor degree) int this thread.
Pat usually trade sown to hoard lower picks. Never have high 1sts

No, it's worship. Don't deny your God.Worship the Patriots or understand their philosophy to be successful? Keep making excuses for a franchise that hasn't gone to a conference championship in almost 30 years.
I might add... your cheating god.Yeah, okay.
Is that Meyer's reputation? A strict disciplinarian? This is why they need to hire Meyer. Discipline and accountability.
That "we like our guys" thing is exaggerated by some fans. Some treat it as if the Cowboys had said "we like every one of our guys at every position at all times and have no interest in trying to replace them". Obviously that's not what was ever said, nor was it the intent. The "we like our guys" is essentially an occasional line that is used to explain why the team didn't sink a lot of resources into replacing someone, or to soften the blow to the fanbase when they are unable to make a deal happen. This idea doesn't jive with the "we like our guys" philosophy of the Dallas Cowboys. For what you have defined you need the mentality that you are constantly having to churn your roster to ensure you have the best possible talent at any spot.
