I know RoyW. picked off a pass from MCchoke a few years ago and we won, but overall we don't play worth a poop in that town. We've NEVER played well in the city of Philadelphia gents. I've been watching this team since 1978 and the only time I felt really comfortable going in there was when we had our dominant teams from 92'-97'. I'm not trying to ruin anybody's xmas I'm just being realistic here: I don't see it happening. Not unless we get healthier in a hurry and somehow realize how to win a big game on the road, in Dec., when it really counts.

we whipped their arse last november in philly.

dont you remember the linc was basically empty at the start of the 4th qtr.

Um, last year when half their fans abandoned the stadium in the 3rd quarter?

We've won two of our three last there. Not exactly our Lambeau Field kryptonite(til this year).

Too much spiked eggnog for me this weekend. I was thinking we beat them at home last year and they beat us at the linc. Man, I picked a bad weekend to START drinking again..............

BTW: this is good: no excuses at all. And come to think of it: we won at Lambeau this year and at FedEx....not bad road wins.

yep and as Babe laufenberg, brad sham and the great kristie scales point out every year, the linc is nothing like the vet. The guys have no qualms about playing there, the stadium is not a dump and it is not as loud.

and with the eagles offense being hit or miss, with the matchups we have there is nothing to be intidmidated by.

Even in their superbowl season of 04 we went to philly and almost won, they scored late to beat us 12-7 if I remember correctly and in that game testaverde missed an open terrance copper late that would have been a huge play.

This team can do this and I dont think it is this giant colossal accomplishment that it once was.

their is a sale at pennies....

:)

LOL @ when the answer is "the last time we played there."

all right then. I'll look it up the next time. BUT, I do have lots of bad memories of butt kickings past: from Jaworski, Montgomery, Bergey and Carmichael to Reggie, Joyner, Cunningham and a cast of many others. Man, that has got to be the franchise with some of the best players.....NEVER to win a super bowl. Hope it stays that way for a long time.

It's okay, they did put the beatdown on us for years there. :)

But even going back to the incredible last-second pick six by Roy for the TD, we've done okay against them.

It's funny, I get the feeling McFlabb is still all cocky about playing us... But it's like he's trying to convince himself, because he knows we've had some good success against them lately.

I have the same feeling.

Many times during games, McNabb is smiling, but it never looks genuine. It's like he does that to try to relax himself or at least give the impression that he's cool and everything is under control.

Mcnabb is cocky about playing everyone.

He has spent his postgame pc's for 4 years saying how his team blew it and the other team didnt really beat them. He did it again last night. He had ope wr and he threw the ball straight into the ground like he has for years.

Meanwhile he hasnt been the quarterback of a playoff team since 04 and he wont be this year unless tampa bay completely quits and loses to oakland, and I dont see that happening at all.

take away his deep balls which he excels at and limit westbrook and mcnabb will have a hard time doing anything to us.

This midget leg having bum said they should've beaten us last year in Philly. rofl. 38-17. Yeah, we escaped with our lives.

More importantly... When was the last game of this magnitude that we have played that wasn't a PRIME TIME GAME????? I'm sooooo glad NBC didn't flex this game... Crowd noise won't be AS bad during a day game as it would be during a Prime Time game....

We've actually won 2 of the last 3 in Philly. Our only loss during that stretch was the game where Bledsoe threw a pick 6 with 30 seconds left. If Romo was starting that game, we'd have won. Romo's first real regular season action came the following week.

What happened the last time Romo was in the state of Pennsylvania with less than a minute left in the game??

Matter of fact, has Romo ever lost in Philly?

In 2006 Bledsoe was QB in Philly. Right?

In 2007 we destroyed them.

Romo's 1-2 in Irving against Philly, and he's 1-0 in Philly against Philly.

....Right?
