When was the last time we had two players with at least 10 touchdown catches? With Dez and Laurent both at 9, there's a good chance they'll reach 10 by season's end.

Witten and TO??

Edit: nope. stats on NFL.com don't go back far enough... go back to 1992.

Nah Witten's never had 10. He had 9 last year and that was a career high.

TO had 15 in 07 when Witten had 7, that's the closest they've ever been.

My guess would be Irvin and Harper.

If I'm not mistaken, Austin has 6? How about a 3 TD game for him against the eagles. Then a 1TD game for each Robinson, Bryant, and Austin against the Giants.

10 a piece. :D

1992 is plenty far enough

we didnt have witten or to prior to 1992...

your welcome

It's never happened here. I just checked pro-football-reference. A few years they've come close though.

This is already the first time we've had two guys with nine TD catches in one season.

Laurent's TD total does not surprise me because he has made plays since the day we signed him (the second time). However, Dez's TDs have been kind of quiet to me. He's been criticized so much for his second half disappearing acts that I lulled myself into believing he wasn't being productive. 9 TDs is 9 TDs no matter when they're scored. That's production right there. Hopefully, Romo will continue to spread the ball around and the offense hits its stride at just the right time.

If Miles hasn't gotten injured he'd probably get 10 as well. He's only played in 8 games. I don't think there's any doubt we have the most talented wide recieving core in the league.

Green Bay definitely has us on depth. Their 4th best reciever is James Jones our 4th best is Kevin Ogeltree.

I doubt it. Not "as well". As you saw on Saturday, when all those guys are on the field healthy, the touches get spread around. Miles extra touchdowns would more than likely have come at Dez and/or Robinson's expense.

im semi surprised by this...lets get three players to 9!

I like that we are sharing the wealth, makes us that much more dangerous. All we need on offense is a center, maybe a guard, and for Jason to become more consistent with his play-calling. Overall, our offense has the potential to be 1 of the best in football.

A C and two Gs.

Do that and watch how "consistent" Jason is with his playcalling once he has an actual offensive line to work with.

What this season has shown especially lately is that Romo is much better when he's spreading the ball around to different receivers. The addition of Robinson has given him a number of options where he's not having to force the ball to one receiver like he did when TO was here.

Even though the Cowboys don't have a 1000 yard receiver there's a nice balance of production between the receivers which I feel has helped him cut down on his mistakes.
