Seems like I heard he will not be able to really get down to it untill September or maybe August at best. If that is the case then He really cannot be in BP's plans this year for all intents and purposes.

The sooner the better - we need LBer help, and I was a big fan of this pick.

That being said - one of the downers to him coming in last year was that he wasn't healthy to begin with. I'd rather him be fully healthy than to throw him in there too soon.

This might be a guy who doesn't fully contribute until his 3rd season, a la Bradie James.

He should be able to do something somewhere around training camp. Limited during offseason, but should be ready to compete training camp, at least by first preseason games to get some more experience. Is what I have heard, hope that helps.

When was he operated on? I seem to recall that it was late in the season.

Regarding knee injuries, will Flo be able to start at full strength at the beginning of the season? I dunno what the recovery time is, but he is also carrying a bit more weight on his knee.

Everything I type is a lie. Except that. And that.

Please don't get us all worried.

Why not? Seems that ever since TO got here, everyone thinks our offensive woes have been solved. Especially with our QB, if there is no time to throw, TO doesn't help too much. Our line is not good right now.

At least with TO, we will know where the blitz will NOT be coming from. He's such a weapon that it should actually have the side effect of improving the OL.

It may not be great, but how much better could it really have been at this point. I think we've made all the best possible improvements so far that we could (as long as Flo comes back ok)

A) With our line, I don't see how it matters where the blitz is coming from - chances are it'll be successful.

B) We know where the blitz is always coming from - the middle.

As much as I would love to run TO on quick slants all the time and get the ball out in 4 seconds, that's not going to be possible.

Honestly - there isn't too much we could have done.

I would have considered going after Hutchinson, Wahle last year, guys like that. I'd sooner sign elite lineman than skill players.

I can't say we haven't tried to draft them - Rogers, Peterman, etc. But circumstance or not, our line is the weakest place on our offense - and until it gets better, I don't see how the offense can be elite.

right on, on top of that Bradie James moved from OLB to ILB :D. but i dont see why everybody is doubting this guy, yea hes injury prone but hes had 1 year in the NFL and he spent it on IR. hopefully he can overcome this and maybe start for us, i like him a lot and if hes as good as we hoped he would be then it would add more depth at OLB and ILB.

I look at it this way, Javon Walker was injured week 1 and they recently said he is just starting to run Which means he is 2 months from being ready at least. Burnett was hurt 4 months after walker which puts him about 6 months to being ready. 6 months is October/November Aread. Pup list makes you miss 6 weeks at least hence midseason

6 weeks = 5 games for us. Not to bad. I hope he returns ready to play.
