When Will Overshown and Diggs Be Ready?

I figured I'd ask the brain trust, as Googling this gives drastically conflicting information. Anyone know when both players will be ready to go?

Nope, you'll get drastically conflicting information on here as well. It sounds like the earliest for Overshown would be around Thanksgiving, but its possible he doesnt come back at all this year too.

Diggs probably has a shot to be ready week 1, but could very well end up on an injured list to start the year as well.

Still too early to have good info on these guys.

Both projected to start the season on PUP. Overshown said he is targeting the T-Day game to return. Diggs claimed to be ready for the season opener and one time. Or maybe it was just reporter claiming that.

Butler, another CB very possibly will start on PUP also.

Meaning they will miss the 1st 4 games, then the 2 week practice window opens.

Based on what Ive seen lately, I’d guess Diggs around week five. Probably start year on PUP.

There’s a shot Overshown doesn’t play this year. They say TGiving, but if the team is out of it, they may not risk it. His injury happened months after Diggs, and was more severe from what I understand.

Diggs should wait till mid-season, and Overshown should probably sit out the whole season. However, I expect Overshown to be back at that Thanksgiving target date. Just my opinion because you can't get accurate dates from the team half the time.

I’m thinking that game in particular is just a rough timeline.

If he can play that day, he can also play four days earlier. If he doesn’t, he will have an extra two weeks.

Kinda like how they typically don’t rush players back before a bye week, just give them the extra time.

Well, several people replied with answers so I guess they've seen more information than I have.

If he plays, and the knee gets jacked up again, he might get another season of injury $$$$.

Odds are he gets IR for the season,

Then post June cut in March 2026.

I would be shocked if Overshown plays this year, he had a horrible injury tearing ACL, MCL and PCL. Even if he somehow managed to get on the field how effective could he be.

Don't think we see him until 2026.

I kind of hope he doesn't play this year. He pushes his body too hard and needs a full camp to really ramp things up correctly. I'd love to see him in a playoff game but i don't want hi to hurt himself again.

He is very likely to get injured again and best value would be at the trade deadline to a contender. A contender is more likely to overpay and the further away you are from the draft the better draft capital value you will get
