When will Pollard have a huge game?

It's not so easy being the lead back? Let's hope for a huge game against the Niners. Does it look like Tony has the same burst as last season?

I think he balls out next week. Cowboys aren't going to be given any chance to win this game. I love when nobody gives us any chance. Cowboys punch them in the mouth behind a big Pollard effort.

He gained 122 yards on 23 carries versus Arizona. They just didn't win.

In the games they've won he hasn't had to do a lot. The offensive line has been banged up as well.

He’s played okay, not great but not bad. He is a complimentary back that takes advantage after the bruiser has worn down the defense.

Sorry but I do not like this pukey, dink n dunk offense of McCarthy's.

Now I can see why McCarthy was much criticized for his suspect play calling in GB,
why he was " influenced " to have assistants take over the play calling, and why
he was fired in midseason in GB.

At some point I would not be surprised if McCarthy is " persuaded" by the Jones to give the
play calling duties over to OC Brian Schottenhemeir.

I do not like how BOTH Cooks and Pollard are being used in McCarthy's yucky offense.

He has played ok, but not up to the level of warranting a big money long term deal.

I think he either gets tagged again or they let him walk next year, he aint worth $10-$15 a year on a multi.

No one balls out against that defense.

I believe it’s because of the freak injury.

It’s cost him his speed.

Has a 4.3 avg

He had a huge game last week against the cards even with 3 starting lineman out....

His worse game was against the Jets and did decently well yesterday. Two of the more stout defenses in the nfl. See how he does this week coming up(won't be good imo). Think he's going to get eaten alive by San fran

5ypc giants
2.9ypc Jets
5.3 cards
4.3 Patriots

You expect him to have a big game when they just keep repeatedly running him right into the middle of the line and not running when they get near the goal line?

Maybe if the OL can get some continuity. However, that is still not an excuse. Pollard has been decent, but so has Dowdle.
It will happen. See how he does the next 2 games. Then maybe they get healthy and make some adjustment coming out of the bye.

I think most fans issues, they may be expecting a few home run type runs, and they have not happened. So they use that against him.
I have not been over impressed, but that is true for the entire run game. But we will see, a long way to go. In is getting better.
