It is also difficult when the opposing QB does not throw many interceptions. McNabb throws 1 interception for every 48.13 pass attempts. That happens to be the best rate in NFL history. When he misses his receivers his passes tend to hit the dirt, so there is little chance for defenders to intercept them.

The defense only allowed 11 completions when facing Derek Anderson. They weren't picking off passes, but they were preventing completions.
