Jethro and his son Igor, touted in bold letters that they were working on two big trades. That was before the draft. Now that the Jones boys are getting some adulation on the draft haul, it has been crickets. We don’t have a No. 2 receiver and gamearing them say we have that guy in-house leads me to believe the trades were an illusion the ultimate huckster thought up. Just like “We’re all in!” Last year.
Jethro cannot help himself.

I am glad they didnt trade. you lose draft picks and get questionable players, and pay too much.
None of the guys available were worth trading for.

There is still plenty of time to pick up someone though, no hurry on it.
I think pick up some wr after they are cut by another team after TC if you like one.

Pickens is a high quality receiver. He’s big, he’s averages over 15 you each of his three seasons.

He’s much better than Amari Cooper for instance.

I am no fan of Jerry and Stephen, not exactly a football dynamic upper management duo. Working on two big trades doesn't necessarily mean they were brought to successful conclusion. I think they overestimate their ability to negotiate with other teams and to a degree they are indifferent to what the fan base and media think. Exceptional draft or not I wish we had better upper management and ownership.
