I think it’s more in the field immaturity then off the field concernsDont know much about pickens but he seems to be a talented wr with some off the field issues. We'll see how this goes. They should bring in Coop also.
Can’t make that comparison. They only have him for one year and they still aren’t ready to win.Huge over pay? He is 24 and is super talented. He is better then any receiver we could of drafted
Exaggerated? You didn’t hear them say they were working in two big trades that may not happen until the draft was over? Mrs. Jones you really need to go do something else than be in this site defending Jethro and Igor. One of them was George Pickens. Steelers wouldn’t come off requiring #44 and the Cowboys wouldn’t give in.
Would you have been in favor of that?
Also, I think your memory is a little exaggerated.
Yep. Can't get a bigger knucklehead than this guy.Shotty continues to change the culture with his “character guys”.
I didn’t like giving up a 4th for Mingo, but as it turned out he has better then any 4th rd receiver in this years classwhy do we continue to burn valuable drat picks on knuckle heads, after getting burned on Mingo trade now they will use a even higher pick on a malcontent Pickens who we wont even be able to extend next year anyway.
His job is to catch a ball we will be alright he doesn’t have to be a smart choir boy. Dez and Irvin worked out well!Yep. Can't get a bigger knucklehead than this guy.
Jerry proves again that he's the real head coach.
Ehhh we can’t complain about them only building for the draft then get upset when we trade for a good player who’s not 35. It does go against the whole culture change unless they want us to believe the culture has already changed…..Can’t make that comparison. They only have him for one year and they still aren’t ready to win.
What happened to “changing the culture?”
They are constantly all over the place with what they do.
Now they don’t have a third next year and of course the draft will be the only way to improve yet again.
If he plays well, they will extend him. Talent always wins out, cannot have a bunch of rkg’s. Just look at Jalen CarterCan’t make that comparison. They only have him for one year and they still aren’t ready to win.

A little rich but don’t mind it if it means he’s competing for WR 3/4. Didn’t like him as a 2 when he has proved nothingI didn’t like giving up a 4th for Mingo, but as it turned out he has better then any 4th rd receiver in this years class
I’m sure Shotty was fine with the talent. He couldn’t possibly see Tolbert as a number 2 and be ok with what they had.Yep. Can't get a bigger knucklehead than this guy.

Pickens is the same age as Revel. It’s a gamble but it changes our receiving big time. We now have 4 players that can break a long touchdown anywhere on the field. Tolbert and Mingo can now settle into the 3 and 4 slots where they should excel.I really like this gamble, yes a total boom or bust trade, but if it hits, we have found our alpha receiver opposite Lamb. Our offense now looks far more explosive with him and Blue
Pickens was a knuckle head in College ,he was a knuckle head in Pittsburgh,it says a lot that a team which puts up with a lot of malcontents cant wait to get rid of him even though the need receivers badly.I didn’t like giving up a 4th for Mingo, but as it turned out he has better then any 4th rd receiver in this years class
Yeah it does put less pressure on the team to force Mingo as a number 2.A little rich but don’t mind it if it means he’s competing for WR 3/4. Didn’t like him as a 2 when he has proved nothing
Pickens was WR1 in Pittsburgh. Smith is not. If Smith was WR1 instead of AJ Brown's WR2, it's a much different argument.Pickens is not better than Smith
Jerry can trade for all the receivers he wants but until they figure out that stopping the run is a priority they won’t be winning a thing. If he plays well, they will extend him. Talent always wins out, cannot have a bunch of rkg’s. Just look at Jalen Carter
Been saying all offseason they needed an alpha receiver opposite Lamb, he fits that mold. Yes, it is a gamble, but could be a huge get. Says who? Not a chance.A good chance that we have George Pickens today.
