Blimey! I love Morris because he is a veteran and runs like Robert Newhouse.
I would love to see Morris lead the charge this season. And Elliott spell Morris.
Blokes, I Zeke can spare his body much pain this season and learn from Morris. Why are we rushing Zeke?

I want to see a lot of Morris. And if he does not work out there is Elliott.
But the point is, take advantage of all Morris has to offer. He is a horse!!!!
Duh!

hey Guiness Breathe..

You know well as me they want to see what Zeke do what he did in college.

That hurdle, to now be referred to as "the Hurdle"..

Is an indication of things to come.

I think they have used Morris well in the RedZone which is where it matters.

And with Dez out..Me thinkist they will be throwing more to Zeke, too.

Morris, My ol' Boy..

he doesn't catch the ball so well.

Got it?

;-)

Now go back and get under The London bridge like a good boy until Sunday like the rest of us.

That's a good boy..open your mouth.

there..a nice kipper for you..

Now run along.

Stop your complaining, You old lout.

In 3 games thus far Elliott gets most of the work load, between 21 and 30 carries while Morris/Dunbar end up splitting 8-10 carries between them.

Recall in the Bears game Elliott took himself out on the goal line twice, leading to both Morris & Dunbar getting TD's instead of Elliott, something that had the FF guys in the game thread going nuts, LOL.

I think the coaches do need to watch the # of carries Elliott gets. He shouldn't be rushed 30x a game, keep it around 20 and let Morris/Dunbar split the other 10.

I like me some Morris too, Gimme, but the thing is, like many others (and the FO as well) I like me some Zeke Elliott even more. Zeke is getting better with each passing game. The promise he holds that Alfred doesn't is that he has the ability to go the distance on any given carry. Does that mean that Morris is merely a statue to be forever relegated to the bench? Perish the thought, old boy!

Alfred will likely be used somewhat sparingly in the future (or perhaps, to give Zeke a breather now and then.) Hopefully, he'll also be used as a valuable RB to be utilized as a hedge to prevent unnecessary wear and tear on a starter who should prove invaluable in making us a winner. I do seriously doubt the staff is about to forget about Alfred altogether but they likely also won't use him enough to keep Zeke from inspiring the ticket holders to keep coming back for more.

As Elvis would say, were he still alive, "that's the way the mop flops . . ." ;)

I would like to see more of Alfred. He could take some weight off Elliotts shoulders and give the club some short yardage work too.

You should just go to a tall bridge and threaten to jump... you would then get the attention that you desire..maybe even make the local news.

I like Morris but as an every down RB morris is not as good of a receiver out of the back field or as good at blocking and picking up blitzes as Zeke has been showing. I like Morris a lot as well and think his role is to give Zeke breathers through out the game along with Dunbar. Cowboys sure as heck did not draft Zeke to be a backup to anyone.

You don't earn your reps in Dallas, you are given them. If the old man drafted you, you are golden.
I hate this freaking system. Just because someone got drafted high doesn't mean he earns the right to be a starter. It's all about the money, if they invested huge resources in one individual, you're never gonna get a fair shot.

I am surprised nobody recognized this post as what it is really about.

Me thinks you may be underestimating the impact Zeke's presence has on passing lanes. I would like to see more of Morris but not at the expense of making things more difficult for Dak.

I would have agreed before game #1, start Morri and slowly acclimate Zeke to the NFL game.

But that bridge has been crossed. A young healthy improving Zeke will get the start and majority of carries like he should.
