It was a breakdown of his throws in college. I swear I saw it on this forum somewhere.

Thanks.

It was from his senior season --

I had to go back and look at who was Dak throwing to, Which Miss St WR made him look good and quite frankly there is not much there in terms of talent which impresses me more about what Dak was able to accomplish at Miss St. It was not as if he was surrounded with a lot of talent like what I saw with Tim Tebow at Florida a team which has no problems recruiting top talent.

QBs make the receiver unless your name is Randy Moss.

Wait a minute now.......Dez, Calvin and Julio all make their QB's look great. I wouldn't devalue what the receiver is. Moss was running past guys. These other guys are jumping up and making tough catches. That fade route to Dez is incredibly efficient.

If we have 4th and inches in the redzone I feel more confident in us getting the TD with that fade route to Dez than I do running the ball.

Romo and Ryan were good before dez and Julio. We will see about stafford who was a number one pick for a reason

Also that 4th and inch line is ridiculous. Jason Garrett is that you?

I never said they wouldn't be good without them. I said they make the game far easier for them. Dez isn't Wes Welker lol.

Zeke should hopefully change your mind totally on this.

I hope he does....but it probably won't. Not really a discredit to this O-line or Zeke......that fade route is just money. And if Dez is single covered......that's the deadliest weapon in the league. I'd rather be aggressive than conservative. Conservative play is how teams sit at home when the playoffs come around.

Tgeres another chart from the Senior Bowl thread as well..... Showed his accuracy was 2nd in nation on 20yds+ sideline throws.... Doughty was 1st

He won 3 Super Bowls without gronk and with nothing at wr and te.

When Jason Garrett had to take over for an injured Aikman and Pete vs Green Bay. He started the game looking poor as GB jumped out to a lead it was Irvin who told Garrett just hang it up there and I will go get it. That is exactly what happened as Dallas came back and beat GB and Garrett's numbers looked great but in large part because all he had to do is hang it up there for Irvin and Harper to go out and get it.

I understand that, but we have also seen that play fail.

With the high picks we have spent on the OL, and now at RB, I see no reason for us not to be dominant in that situation whether throwing it to Dez or running it with Zeke.

We've seen the fade route fail? I can only think of about 3 times lol. And if i'm not mistaken most of those were with Weeden lol. You are correct. Not the smartest play. I was just more so complimenting how money the fade route is with Dez.

True however.....
First one was mainly thanks to his defense I am sure you will agree.
Second two his qb rating was 92 and 86 respectively-very average by his standards, so without a punishing run game and terrific defense they lose.
His best year as a qb while winning a Super Bowl had tons to do with Gronk when his qb rating was almost 98, without him that team does not beat the 'Hawks.
