It went wrong when Jerry committed long term to a head coach who brings absolutely nothing to the table. Previously it aren't wrong when Jerry decided that because he played football and is a savvy business man that he could run an NFL team. And he has run it, run it into the ground.

At the moment, the QB is middle of the road with a chance to improve, the coach is not a top 16 coach, and the GM is not a top 16 GM.

I think the Cowboys should have paid Parnell and should not have extended Bryant. I think they should have valued FAST and big receivers in the draft. I think Jaylon Smith merited a third round pick. I think they should have found a DOMINANT 1-technique defensive tackle.

Lack of leadership and poor decisions have become norms in Dallas. Even when they manage to acquire talent it never leads to a serious run at a title.
