At the bottom.

Tiki is the man.

Portis is the man.

Westbrook is so unbelievably versatile, he's the man.

AT this point, I'd have to agree...we are all happy with our backs, but the fact remains that neither is a STAR...yet.

I would trade JJ for Jacobs, Portis, or Westbrook, but not for Betts or Tiki at this point in their careers.

The only player I'd trade MBIII for is Portis...

1. I think MBIII is starting to make his mark as a scorer, and later he'll make his mark as a starting RB.

2. You have to take the OLs into consideration...though ours is improved, clearly, we still have the weakest OL in our division by far.

Ranking the OLs:

1. Skins...not even close, they are huge machines.
2. Eagles...great OL with lots of talent and depth because Reed drafts an OL every year on first day, even on round 1.
3. Giants...not as huge as the Skins, not as athletic and deep as Eagles, but well coached and they seem to run on everyone with either back.
4. Cowboys...???...better, but is there even 1 player on our line who's the best in our own division at his position?...I don't think so...Gurode is the only one who's even close, imo.

First of all....I think you are right with the OL rankings

Secondly, I am critical of Parcells when necessary, but to go 9-7 with that line last year and with a QB that holds onto the ball is truly amazing

Third, to win the division with the worst OL in the division (especially in a physical division like the NFCE) is saying something

Having said all that, having the worst OL in the division is nothing to brag about...having the oldest WRs (true they are the best) in the division is nothing to brag about...these 2 factors will catch up with us quickly if progress is not made on both fronts this offseason

So I do not want to see any LBers drafted on day 1 this offseason...I mean if you draft them, how will they ever start? And if they do, that means you wasted money on Jame/Ayodale....or wasted 1st/2nd round picks on Carpenter/Burnett. It is time for Parcells to find diamonds in the rough at that position like he did with the OL. We need to go WR, OL, and an interior DL on day 1 of the draft. I think we are going to have to fill that "pressure player position" through free agency OR we are going to find another cover guy in free agency and blitz more.

But the offense needs to be reloaded, especially if we have found our franchise QB. Remember, Holmgren traded a 1st round pick for Deion Branch, because he said Hassleback is in his prime and he wanted to give him as many weapons as possible to take advantage of this window

RB wise (no injuries?)

Portis/Betts (Betts is an animal)
Barber/Jacobs (mainly from Barber)
Jones/Barber (mainly from Barber pounding)
Westbrook/Buckhalter (mainly because Buckhalter is a bum, Westbrook is a stud).

Overall RB

Westbrook
T Barber
Portis
M Barber
Betts
Jones
Jacobs
Buckhalter

OL

Easily Wash
Philly

does it really matter? as an offensive team we're better than all of them

also as FYI, Jones/Barber have combined for 1655 yds on 369 carries, 4.5 yds per carry and 17 tds...they've also had only one fumble combined

Barber/Jacobs have 1755yds on 378 carries, 4.6 yds per carry and 11 tds and 5 fumbles

Portis/Betts 1456 yds on 323 carries 4.5yds per carry 9 tds, 2 fumbles

Westbrook/Buckhalter have 1398yds on 287 carries 4.9 yds per carry, 8 tds and 2 fumbles

jacobs reminds me of Hambrick when he was backing up Emmitt. It would be interesting to see how he does as the #1 guy.
