Where do you rank this win against the Eagles

I'm seriously debating if this is one of the 5 best games I have ever watched as a Cowboy fan? I love the type of games where you think all is lost and then out of nowhere, we start playing better and regain the momentum. To do that in Philadelphia was just amazing.

You know it is hard to rank off of last nights game.

I mean let's be real here...we basically won that game in the last few minutes but prior to that were man handled in the trenches on both sides of the ball.

It was so much like the Skins loss but in reverse that it was just freaky.

With that said it really brings out our problem and the reason it is so hard, IMO, to gauge this team....INCONSISTENCY.

You just don't know what you will get each game. At any given game we could beat any team, but at the same time we could struggle against any team and lose.

So it is hard to judge...at least for me it is at this point.

I think we are getting better and maybe this was a stepping stone to those better days...but until we can be consistent we will just have to be the cardiac cowboys.

Just another win. The stuff of legends comes from December and January, sometimes February now I guess.

But I think that's characteristic of Parcells. I'm not intending to put him down so don't read it that way but Parcells' teams have never really just went out and dominated. That's not his style of football. His teams don't just dominate the entire game. Even during his Superbowl years, his wins were always close that included a lot of drama. Personally, I kind of like those wins better than the ones in which you just dominate ala St. Louis Rams circa 1999 in which the game is over by the first quarter and you have your backups starting in the 4th quarter.

Last night's game had a story. It was drama. And that's what made it fun to watch IMHO

Dude, you ever see the 86 Giants, They imposed their will on pple and did what they wanted to do regardless of what you tried to stop. Their D was OMG scary. Their Offense was just talented enough to know when not to screw up. Nothing special. They Dominated everything and every one every sunday just about. Would be a great game them vs the 93 Cowboys. But yea, Parcells Dominated in his early days.

This D hes building now will Dominate here soon. Its gunna be in the OMG scary mold. Parcells will take a dominating D every time you give him a choice. Who wouldn't. It makes it so much easier if you dont have to score more then 14 points to win a game.

I remember those days but I still don't put that team on the same dominance calibre as the Cowboys of the 90's and the 49ers of the 80's. They had too little offense to really be put on a pedistal. And while that 86 Giants team won the Superbowl, they also lost for several years to the Commanders and 49ers after that so I think our 93 Cowboys would easily win. We just had too much talent on that team. Our starters and backups were both talented. When Leon Lett is your third string defensive tackle, I'm sorry but I can't even say it would be close. Maybe I'm just being a homer!

That being said, I don't think Parcells has any desire to be a one sided team. He wants us to be potent on both sides of the ball. But yeah, defense takes precedence as it should.

It ranks right up there with the game at the Vet when Kelvin Martin ran a punt back for a TD to send the Iggles home and the Cowboys on to the playoffs which transcended into utter domination for a better part of the 90's.

James I've been scratching my head trying to remember another Cowboy comeback that even resembles the one we witnessed last night. The only one I recall is the playoff game against the 49ers in the early 70's. That game is similar because we were being totally dominated on their home field......and Roger led us to a come back Victory.

I guess I am just one of the few that most of the enjoyment of winning was robbed by the distate in my mouth from the prior 56 minutes of play!!
