I'd have to say the Eagles have better receivers than the Giants, probably better receivers than us too

Agree with everything here except qb and corner. Think cowboys are at number 2 with QB just because Eli has proven more. And I think cowboys have best corners in division. I think Carr, Claiborne and Jenkins are better then Asomugha, Rodgers-Cromartie and Dawson. But I guess that remains to be seen

i agree with all of these except rb and special teams. rb third we have a young rb in murray who did not stay healthy had two amazing games but still needs another season.jones who is great one week then not so good the next. the giants are number two. bradshaw seems to step up in big games. special teams third maybe fourth because losing mcbriar will hurt punting game and we really do not have a great kickoff return man. good punt return in dez but who is going to be the kickoff return man this year.

I'll just do the Cowboys:

QB: 1st
RB: 1st
OL: 3rd
TE: 1st
WR: 2nd

DL: 3rd
LB: 1st
DB: 3rd

The trenches are really holding us back but if Tyron becomes the best OL, Costa is average, the OGs are a cohesive interior and Free returns to 2009&10 form we could be really good. I would argue we have the two most athletic OTs in the whole division. I still really hope we throw Kowalski in at Center and then we'll have the most athletic OL in the whole division - we should be able to really move them and put pressure on other team's secondaries and LBs to come up and make plays in the running game and deal with Vickers in the hole.

On the DL I do think we are better than many think with the progress made by Lissemore and Hatcher last season as well as the addition of Crawford. If Geathers can step up that will make a huge difference as well. We also really need Ratliff to return to his from from 2007-9 but even if we could get a repeat of 2010 that wouldn't be too bad. However, we have the Eagles and Giants in this division and they are brutal upfront and may have two of the top 3 DLs in the whole league.

As far as the secondary it is hard to know what we have until we know more about Jenkins health and how Claiborne adjusts to NFL play. I also still have hopes that Jerome Henderson can make a difference and get more out of Sensy and Scandrick. I also have hopes that Matt Johnson can make an impact this year out there.

I do think this our best roster since 2007 but a lot will depend on how the OL and DBs perform as those were the undoing of the 2011 team which was otherwise quite good.

I rank us as behind the Super Bowl champs. Giants have gotten 2 recently, we need to get that kind of success going around here. I think things are going in the right direction though.
