He's got to be top 5 for QB, probably top 3. If this continues in Denver and they win a Super Bowl, bringing him to two with two different franchises he is likely in sole possession of Greatest Quarterback of All Time.

Has any other QB won two super bowls with two different teams?

I already think he is in that discussion, even if he (I mean his team) nevers wins another SB.

I'm saying he is or isn't, because any GOAT discussion is always total speculation and personal opinion. Can never be proved one way or the other.

Don't forget he choked last year in the playoffs.....

I disagree. If Raheem Moore doesn't horribly misplay that punt of a pass by Flacco, this is a completely different conversation.

To me he's absolutely the best QB I've ever seen play. Be that live or from watching re-runs of old games.

He's the best QB I've ever seen.

Likely 5 time league MVP after this year regardless of Superbowl.

I'd say he's already in the discussion for GOAT, and personally think he's already it.

He's the best QB ever. You throw out Super Bowl wins with him, although I think he gets at least one more before he retires. He manages a game like no other. He makes everyone around him better.

Who else is in the discussion? I think you really have to break it down by era.

Its hard for most of us to talk about the guys from the late 50's / 60's: Unitas, Namath, Starr, Otto Graham, Y.A. Tittle. We werent alive to see them play, but those guys deserve a spot in the discussion. What about the guys from the 70's: Staubach, Bradshaw, Griese, Stabler?

I think the only competition Manning has for G.O.A.T comes from the QB's who played in 80's/90's. Montana, Elway, Marino.

The only ones from this era who deserve being in the talk besides Peyton Manning is Favre and Brady.

I thought Montana was absolutely great. There was no doubt about it. Especially when it came to postseason and Superbowl play.

But as great as I thought he was I don't think he's anywhere near the QB that Peyton is. In fact I don't think it's even remotely close.

Montana was a damn fine QB on an extremely talented, and stacked, San Fransico team. He had tons of help all over the field, offensively and defensively.

Now Peyton has had some very talented offenses, without a doubt, but in Indy his offense had to routinely carry an average, at their very best, defense. The one time the defense actually played really well, at the right time, the TEAM was able to win a championship.

I honestly believe if you put Peyton on a team stacked like the 49ers, or the Cowboys of the 90's or even 70's, that those team would have been winning even more than they did. He's just that good.

Considering the fact that he has also been the best offensive coordinator for the last 15 years or whatever, I'd say he's #1

Let me ask you this - who are you going to rank AHEAD of him?

He's the best I have seen and certainly the best/smartest on field strategist.

He's a coach that can play.

And a good guy. Peyton's been a great ambassador for the game.

He's definitely the best regular season QB of all time but if my team was in the playoffs, there are a couple guys I would rather have. I reserve the right to change my opinion in February, but this isn't the first time Peyton Manning has seemed invincible in the regular season.
