Raji according to ourlads is ranked as the 11th best prospect

37th in the great blue north listing

and some where which I can't find right now I have seen him ranked around 43

but it seems this guy is all over the board...It probably will go by team needs but taking this guy in the first I think would be a bit risky

thoughts.

NFL Draft Scout has him at 17.

I'm inclined to think he continues to rise potentially going to someone like San Francisco at 10, but the mass of teams that would be very interested are in the mid 20s. Several in a row would probably have their eye on him.

I just can't see him going in the first. After sitting out a year on probation, I'd have to say teams will be unlikely to draft him. Not to mention this year's senior DT class is pretty bad, once the 15th comes and goes we'll have a better idea.

1st round , and probably in the top 15 . I think he'll skyrocket after the combine .

I could see him having a Glen Dorsey-type rise in the offseason, after workouts, although not quite as high

After all his academic problems, I could see him go much lower ala Alan Branch and Gabe Watson. Mark my words the highest he will go is in the high 2nd round. I personally think he could be possibly had for a 3rd.

No way. If he is there at the top of the 3rd I will buy you a steak.

LOL

this is exactly what I am talking about... some of us have the guy in top 15 others think he is only worth a 3rd rnd pick...I am not sure I have ever seen a guy with so many split on where to put him...

but its not just us fans...its draft sites and the bowl announcers were also mentioning the nfl scouts had him all over the place.

I had Witten as a 1st round pick. When we passed on him when he was available in the 2nd I nearly had a heart attack. It's all speculation. We don't know how the teams will evaluate players because we see level of play, Combine workouts, and articles. Teams interview and do background checks.

I don't see how Branch is comparable. His rise up the "internet" and media draft boards was simply unaccompanied by any actual scouts feeling that strongly about him - a bad motor, underwhelming block shedding ability, and honestly, a pretty mediocre bit of production hurt him a lot.

Raji's production is on a completely different level. Some NFL scouts have him with a mid-1st or higher at present - if he drops beyond that, there's no way he doesn't get taken at end of round 1, whether it's someone trading up for value or not.
