He hasn't been a significant part of the Offense lately.

Is he hurt???

He was 4 for 31 vs Carolina

5 for 41 vs Denver

&
5 for 47 vs KC,

with no TD's

These may not be bad numbers, but Not using him in the Denver game in the red zone was questioning.

I know he may be doubled alot but with a two tight end set wouldn't you think someone else would be open.

Sorry if this question was brought up before ,but I didn't see it.
If so please direct me to the post.

You know what I find interesting.

There are threads about how the Cowboys don't run enough AND the the WR/TE not catching enough passes.

He's not hurt. Teams are going the extra mile to take him out of the games and it is just showing up. It is not hard to figure out he is who Romo looks to first and until our WRs step up, it will continue. Hopefully Austin will continue to progress and make that happen.

Woa.Woa I wasn't criticizing the play calling I was just wondering where he's been lately since He was Romo's favorite target for years and a big part of the offense.

I don't care if they throw to him or if they run for 100 yards, I was just wondering if he may be hurt.

You guys need to lighten up a bit. Not everyone is criticizing the team when they ask a question.

I'm sure defense are paying a bit more attention to Witten these days.

Witten is busy Fighting double teams, Helping the left tackle earn his paycheck and Doing stuff with the players on the sidelines the head coach is responsible for.

You will have to excuse him if he isnt lighting up the stats sheet, being a player and a coach is pretty tough.

Witten is getting what he can. The teams we're playing are game planning to try and take him away. Until receivers continue to step up, like Miles did yesterday, they'll continue to game plan to take him out of games.

Correct, ... anyone happen to notice Witten's block on Choice's TD run?

He is taken over as the primary go-to guy from TO.This changes the defensive gameplan big time

EXCATLY without T.O. ofcourse the D is gonna focus on him. When they doubled t.o. last season that is what left witten open! Here again is why Roy Williams is USE LESS!!!

Witten is contributing in other ways... Bennett needs to step his game up!

Why does Bennett need to step his game up? His game has been fine. His blocking has been great and if you hadn't noticed every time Romo has tried to get him the ball its been wide left right or over his head. One thing he does need to work on is where to line up. Other than that he is helping this offense quietly. Our OC needs to find ways to get him the ball, not for his lack of trying.

As noted by others, most teams are really game planning for him now and have decided he's the key figure in the passing game.

If Austin and some others can have a few games like eysterday and produce though, things will change, and Witten will get more chances.

Every RB isnt going to have 20 rushes per week, every receiver isnt going to catch 8 passes per game. This isnt Madden people.
