Just heard on the news that Peter Tomarken, former game show host of PRESS YOUR LUCK, died in a plane crash with his wife. Engine trouble. They showed the plane in the ocean at a beach. N16JR

Thats sad he was the owner of the plane I assume he was pilot. When you look it up on flightaware it shows it diverting back to santa monica and then just stops in the ocean. Sad thing is it says arrived and gives time on the right

RIP Peter...Watched him all the time in the 80's...He is forever a legend on the gameshow network. They show the old "Press Your Luck" episodes every day.

Apparently, Peter Tomarken died volunteering for a flight for a medical charity. Also aboard was Kathleen Tomarken, his wife, who also died in the flight.

too bad really. Life is so fragile and so precious.
