I am watching Tavon Austin drop a pass in the end zone last week.

This week he let's a ball go thru his hands for an interception.

Yes he had a couple of catches but it's not enough.

Why is Butler not playing?

Anybody know?

And while we are asking questions .

Rico had a big catch last night then went dark.

Never saw anything more.

Brice did get in on the hail mary. Beyond that my only guess is they are bringing him along slowly so the optics of the situation gets fuzzy because if you bring him back after a week or so it would prove the offense is too simple or too much like last years...

The organization is a joke. They have no idea what they are doing. Apparently we didn't have enough JAG receivers we needed to add one more to to team. I have never seen a team with so many receivers, yet it seems like none of them are any good. All we heard in the off-season was Dak friendly on offense. But what they really did what set him up for failure .

This organization/coaches are too proud to admit they totally have screwed this receiving crew up. There is no #1 WR. Bunch of JAG #2s and #3s. Then throw in this poorly performing Oline and the terrible/stubborn playcalling.

But, hey, it's easier just to say Dak sucks.

It’s the staff. Butler talked crap when he left. T-Will got in trouble with the law. Rico was supposed to be the next great thing.

Now we bring Butler back to put him on the sidelines.

T-Will stands on the sidelines and now out in IR.

Rico wide open catch and rides the sidelines after that.

The staff has no sack.

I read the route tree is basically the same but know based on steps and he’s learning that part but who knows

Do you really have to ask? Garrett and Linehan. They have no idea how to use their own personnel. We are so obsessed with our terrible TEs so we ignore our WRs too often. Butler is not great but he's as good as anything we have right now.

It's not necessarily true that if we complete one pass to a player that he will be open to throw to over and over thereafter. It may well be that part of why Rico was able to get open for the one pass was because he wasn't being used much and therefore the defense wasn't looking for it. Ultimately we did use our TEs - 98 yards worth, and both Swaim and Jarwin had nice plays too - and it really doesn't matter which TE's are getting the yardage as long as we are using TEs.
