According to Clarence Hill

As I noted in another thread, this could really mean anything. Peters might want to talk it over with family. His agent might not be available until tomorrow. Could want a 2nd opinion on something they saw in the physical. He might want a chance to meet with Zack. Who knows.

Some of yous act like he was sitting on his couch last year eating flaming cheetohs with you guys. He actually played with the Bears and says he was still interested in playing this year so he was mentally and physically ready for another run. He seems to be looking for a spot just like there is in Dallas, so we shall see. The only obstacle could be the money aspect. You know Stephen, cheap and all, even to a former Pro Bowler.
That's what worries evertbody.

Yeah but he’s healthy and available now. Tyron isn’t.
You're going to have to leave a tight end over there because he's too slow to catch speed rushers on the corner.

Because those grades are stupid. They mean nothing.

Speed rushers destroy him. And he's to slow to run block on the back side. Here's beat to the spot every time.

Dallas is the only team calling him.

He's 40, and he's had a jillion injuries.
I can just go to ignore when the lips start moving...good night.

This is about as good as a band aid as we could hope for. He's not as quick as he was but his technique remains flawless and he has power in spades.

If he is staying overnight to resolve it tomorrow that keeps the door open. How many times have we seen FA come in and leave that same day? If that report of him taking a physical is true then this starts to look like gamesmanship.
