Is he going to be a decoy all year long? I have not seen a single pattern down the middle against a LB which should be there all year long.

Timing, and rep times with romo;
till romo starts gets some confidence in his, gets some rapport with him, you wont see it too much; and most likely teams are doubling bennett some like they double witten sometimes

player i am down on is austin,

I think this is the biggest issue at this point. There have been two red zone plays where Romo and Bennett weren't on the same page and Bennett was expected a different type of pass than what he got.

Romo missed Bennett on a hot read... that coulda been a big play.

They also tried getting Bennett the ball in the red zone TWICE. The Bruce Coslett TE play, and the Fade.

He'll be fine.

I'd hold off on complaining to much about any of our passing weapons.

There is a reason we are running for 200 yards a game.

Lets see a team take away our run game and see if they can still stop the pass.

So far our Offense has been awesome imo. Other than the turnovers...

Bennett just needs to have some better throws from Tony...

He will be ok.....hopefully Romo looks his way once in awhile.

That play literally made me sick to my stomach.

Garrett was very ragged in his redzone playcalling. Too much cute, not enough substance.

I know Alexander: the 2 fades in the end zone to RW and Marty were idiotic and too cute. RUN IT IN. Which Red did the rest of the game with Choice down there.

they were bad play calls especially bad because the Panthers had no answer to our running game.

but RW should of had that fade......it was a drop :(

doin a fade the second time was idiotic....I dont know if Romo changed the play seeing that Bennett had single coverage but what a miscommunication.

Could of cost the game :(

Sometimes I think Garrett gets too player/package specific. In other words, he loses track of tempo and what is working and instead goes with the packages/players for the game. That can also explain why we looked so poor without Jones last year and that is because he is so player dependent with his playcalls and it really limits things when someone isn't available.

I can almost guarantee he calls different plays with Barber in there. He simply needs to keep things simple in the redzone. There were several times (including a forced timeout) that we had too many people in an out. Carolina didn't stop us there, we simply got too busy and didn't execute well.

That play should have worked. Bennett got held big time by Beason and the refs never saw it. I actually like that play call.

It was by far his worst playcalling this year but he is still doing a good job designing runs that get our guys into space.

The Crayton reverse play has became a staple for this offense. Teams will have to learn not to cheat against our run game because we have 3 special RB's.

But yes he had some poor calls last night.

Crayton is a solid player.... but just imagine what a player with explosiveness could do with the opportunities he's been getting (reverses, punt returns, etc.)

I always cringe when I see that play developing. "oh no, the crayton reverse!" But it's been money so far this year.

How long does Romo need? He's had 2 full camps with Bennett. He had all of last year. He's had more time with Bennett than Roy Williams.

QB's make passes when they have to to whomever they have to. This is an unfair comparison, but Favre goes into Minny w/ little camp time and is hitting guys he's only played with a couple of months. He's hitting 61% of his passes (to Romo's 51%). I guess we can wait for Romo....the playoffs will be there next year.

Cowboy fans who've been screaming for months for more running plays, complaining about the QB and the passing game the morning after a win. When we lead the NFL in rushing. Who'd ever have thought we'd live to see the day?

Collectively, we may have the dumbest fanbase in the NFL.

Favre throws it up for grabs and gets lucky (sometimes). When he doesn't get lucky, it's an interception. I don't want Romo doing that.

Ha, Amen. Some of these people kill me, we dont have the ball the entire game to run 100 plays. Run, run, run! Well we cant get the ball to RW/Bennett, etc. Pass, Pass, Pass! Well Jones/Choice isnt getting enough touches. It never ends.
