Haven't needed too is my guess. We can stay in our base package and still dominate.

According to Rex Ryan (I have his book on the 46), the 46 is an 8 man front you use to stop the run. Do the Eagles run?

Cinncinnati ran, so actually Joe Gibbs called out the Jets using it once. But unless you have great defensive backs and a great Will linebacker, you're asking yourself for a world of hurt playing that D.

But it is there if Wade needs it. Guys have played it before and it is something Dallas can turn to if need be.

The 46 is going to get you burnt a whole lot in this era of play where DBs are called for pass interference and illegal contact like crazy. That front worked better when DBs could mug receivers downfield and get away with it.

Yea, the 46 would get your defense lit up against a decent QB.

This topic makes me wonder about the various stunts and whatnot Wade pulled when the defense was struggling. How much will be used or will they stick to the base defense.

The 46 is good changeup when the base isn't working. Well the base is working pretty darn good right now.
