I do not know if anyone else has noticed, but where is the draw play?

Julius was a complete stud running this last year.

Where is it this year?

I could be wrong, but I do not remember Julius running one draw play yet.

Tyson Thompson ran one Monday night, but that is all I can rememeber.

Lets get Julius running the draw! He literaly destroyed teams with it last year.

Tyson ran 3 in a row.

I agree that JJ has been deadly in the draw play. He needs more.

I have noticed this and thought about it. Maybe it's something to do with Payton calling plays rather than Bill Parcells? I don't know its just a guess but just as good as any.

I can't remember, but this is the ultimate team to run a draw with. Jones=Draw stud. With all of the recieving threats, including two quality deep threats the 3-wide set should be our default offensive allignment. In the last two minutes we should have been running Jones like we did against Seattle last year.

I was thinking the same thing during this game. On the Cowboys' second to last possession, I thought they should have run the draw on 2nd. They ran on the first play and gained 4 yards. The linebackers were lined up deep. A draw may not have gained the first down, but would have made it a shorter attempt on the 3rd down.

Emmitt's best play was the lead draw and Norv ran this play to death. The draw takes advantage of JJ's vision and burst. We definitely need more draw plays. In fact, we should give JJ more lead draw type plays than anything. We seem to have fallen in love with this split back sweep and I don't really like it. In last years Seattle game (JJ's best game) I think like 70% of his yards came on the draw.

I am not a big fan of the split back sweep. Seems like it take Bledsoe forever to even get the ball back to Julius. How about a toss sweep once in a while?

I think the reason we didnt do any draws was because Washington is known for blitzing up the middle. that would cause a fumble if the LBs got to Bledsoe as he was going to hand it off....Even though they didnt Blitz that much at all, but thats what Payton was probly thinking.
