Olawale was supposed to be a huge upgrade in the run and pass game. Not sure he has a single touch. Might be a nice wrinkle to add in

I think the idea was to use him in blocking and on special teams like we did Keith Smith.

Olawale has been good thus. The big Tavon Austin play against the Giants, Olawale sold the pass with his lead block in the I formation. 4 tackes thus far

Didn't we give up a 5th for him? The way we are using him, that was dumb.

I'd rather run a two-back set with Elliott & Tavon in the back field, see if I can get Tavon matched up on a LB.

He's played well when needed. Had a few good plays in lions game.

Seriously, we have enough TEs to do his job, we just don't need him. How often do we run from the I or I left/right formation?

He had some huge chunk plays in Oakland.
He's a legit offensive weapon that should be used more.

Specialized player.

Until of course, the sneaky genius that is Garrett unleashes him.

He could make that happen.

Dude is like Moose and Herschel in the same player. Get him the ball! :lmao:

No, they swapped picks with the Raiders.

They don't lose a pick. The pick just moves down the draft board a few spots.

He plays for the raiders now...

We have some dude we got stuck with when the FO took an L with smith

Took our guy we liked and then moved up in the draft getting rid of their guy...

Double loss?

"We" didn't like the other guy very much; otherwise, they would have paid him to stay.
