I worked out a deal with Dell a few months ago for two free flats when we bought some servers. My boss gave them to the bigwigs.trickblue said:Yes it is... and I've had really good luck with Samsung flats, as well as Planar...
I've gotton to where I only buy flats now as the price difference is not that much anymore... a good 17" crt runs about $119 while a good flat runs about $179...Yeagermeister said:I worked out a deal with Dell a few months ago for two free flats when we bought some servers. I'm replacing my 2 17" Planar flats with the two new 19" then passing the 17" down...
Fry's is probably going to be your best local bet. They'll have a better selection and better prices than a BestBuy.StoneyBurk said:Is thereany place in the area I can drive to and purchase a monitor ?

Yeah, I got both my ViewSonic's from NewEgg. Even if you aren't going to buy from them, ALWAYS (and I mean ALWAYS) go read the reviews on what you plan to buy if they sell it.TruBlueCowboy said:I buy all my hardware on Newegg. I love that place. I especially appreciate the customer reviews. You can find out anything from how stable it is when overclocked to which hardware has wierd conflicts.
