I know what I will say here will not be popular, but I really believe its the truth.

Offense wins championships. You can't win without a defense, but season in and season out, you better have an offense too.

The Chargers went with offense, Norv Turner.
The Cowboys went with defense, Wade Phillips.

The Chargers had everything go against them today, and Turner won with backups at QB, HB, and TE.

The Cowboys had everything going for them, and we are out.

The Wade Phillips hire was fine for a 13-3 record. I give him credit for that. Today this team was not prepared to beat the Giants, I also give him credit for that.

I don't know what you do now. I guess Phillips comes back. But if I had a vote, I would go with Jason Garrett at this point.

Just an opinion.

Do you know what the key difference between the two teams were today?

1. San Diego's offensive line dominated in both the passing game and running game

2. Our offensive line looked like a bunch of scrubs

Our offensive line is being coached by Sparano, BP's guy...

San Diego's defense was not that special, and the Colts committed two costly TOs, one in the red-zone, and the other moving down the field. Those were pretty random TOs.

Kudos to Norv for the offensive play, but they squeeked by because of luck on the TOs...

I think the offensive line didn't play well but they are not the reason for the loss. A QB has to know when to step outside the pocket to make throws and throw the ball away. The Giants have a great defensive line and you can't expect an OL to just give you a nice comfortable pocket on every down. Tony Romo sat too long in the pocket and didn't know when to throw it out of bounds. He also didn't know when to take off and run with the ball. There were several occassions he had running lanes open and didn't exploit them, instead he sat in the pocket and waited until it caved in.
