I didn't even see him on the field last night. What did I miss?

He was there. Even ran a reverse for a good gain.

That's right. I forgot. I just didn't see him involved in the passing game so I forgot about that.

Thanks.

Yeah, I don't believe we threw him a single pass... At least I don't remember one.

He used to be money on 3rd down.

He probably still is money on third down, but they seemed to be trying different things moreso than having strategy out there (I keep saying this). I don't know if it was intentional, but every offensive skill player was involved in that drive. We have a lot of talented skill players. Crayton will be fine. Now if Austin had held onto that pass from Kitna...

We only had two offensive series with our starters (and one was a three and out.)

He'll get his passes, don't worry. ;)

Heh... I'm not worried at all. Crayton is the least of our worries.

The first-team offense threw only seven passes. Three went to Williams (one batted down, one caught and one flagged for PI), one to Felix, one to Bennett, one to Witten and one to Austin deep. We faced only one third down, and it was a third-and-11.

I doubt there are many plays designed to throw to Crayton except when we need to convert on third down. Otherwise, he's probably no higher than Romo's third or fourth option. So I wouldn't worry about Crayton not getting one of those seven passes thrown his way.

for some reason the Raiders put #21(the cb with the crazy name) on Austin or Crayton. I wonder why he wasn't on Williams?

Most teams almost never play matchup coverage with their cornerbacks. The stay on their side and cover whomever lines up there -- especially in the preseason.
