Where was Dwayne Harris?

Looked like they were taking a look at some of the older bubble guys. Harris is a lock so they are looking to see who they are going to cut and give them some exposure to other teams so they have a chance to catch on somewhere else.

I would agree but it's only the 2nd game and he did play and did rotate with Holley on the 3 wides. Also when Dez went out he was lining up with KO as the other WR

I don't think the QB's really looked Harris way at all. However I thought on the TD to Witten that's were Romo was gonna go but he didn't.

Ogletree is going to get passed up people. He is not that good. Stone hands, alot of mess ups for a 3rd year wr. With that being said none of our wr did anything really . Tree is 4 based on skill please release yourself from his jock.

Harris is safe

Ogletree 3 for 27 - still think he Dez an Austin replcement if either go down

Harris in the Slot guy

I agree with this. Ogletree's skill set seems better suited for the outside and he will probably be the primary back up to Austin or Miles while Harris is the main guy in the slot.

Highly doubt that. It's O-Tree's job. Dwayne makes the team as well.

I agree with this. Ogletree looked fine out there and did well with his opportunities.

I was actually impressed with the catch Radway made with the guy all over him. He may have a better shot at making the roster than I expected as the 5th WR.

I felt like Chris Collinsworth was defending skinny guys. He was all over Ogltree's jock. And why? I still haven't seen much from the guy.

They were to busy wasting snaps by playing Jesse Holley. He should have played more than he did.

And yet Holley made plays when his number was called.

Wasteful

I think Holley makes this team. Another kind of lost in the mix is Manny Johnson He played well tonight.

like others mentioned harris was safe. he has shown enough to earn a roster spot.

this was a battle between radway, poots, manny, holley. at most one of those guy make it.

ogletree was likely battling a free agent addition.

this was a fairly ugly game by cowboy standards but it also pretty clear by the playing pattern that this was about time for the young starting OL and after that just about getting down to the right 75. and we probably see 2 WR cut in the march down to 75. They had to create a pecking order and also identify who they want for the PS.

kitna played all of what 3 plays? This was no about winning tonight but really about evaluation. game 2 generally is about that with game being a dress rehearsal and game 4 about staying healthy while game 1 is almost always about seeing rookies.

^ This is probably spot on.

I dont remember him making any plays. I do remember him causing a penalty, and add in that interception he caused last week and I would say that holley is a waste of a roster spot. He'll likely be cut this year.

wanna bet?

Garrett stated he felt we were weak at WR and may need to scour the waiver wire.

I believe Ogletree looked good tonight but his issue has been consistency and complacency since day 1. Harris can play a 3 WR role if we suffer an injury at WR1 or WR2 for a short period but we absolutely do not want a wr corps of austin or bryant then ogletree and harris. Especially if it is bryant. That is just insanely too much youth.

Yeah, he made a nice catch in traffic which kind of suprised me for a speed guy. Couldn't tell, but it looked like he may have given up on a route in the endzone late in the game. I will have to watch the game again. I think he needs to get his head in the playbook. He really does seem to have a special athletic ability for the position and speed to burn.

Holley will never be more than a 4th or 5th WR in this league. BUT he does have a big advantage for those late roster spots because he can cover kicks.

We need guys who can get down on punt teams especially and Holley does that. A guy like Radway has more upside potential but he is a perfect practice squad guy. He needs tons of work on route running and basic football playing.

Manny Johnson probably gets cut tomorrow basically because Holley is a much better gunner.

With Radway's speed and potential, I wouldn't risk trying to put him on the PS squad, especially for a guy like holley. His production on ST can be replaced.

It can but by who? Him and Mccray are very good ST players and I think both are gonna have a hard time making the team. So if that is the case who replaces them?
