Where would you rank our revamped secondary?

Carr, Claiborne, Jenkins, Sensy, Pool, and Scandrick

We are MUCH improved. I'd say we have at least a top 10 secondary. Easily. Thoughts?

Much depends on whether Jenkins is retained.

With Jenkins, I'd say they have top 5 potential.

Without Jenkins, top 10 (in 2012) with much higher in 2013+ as Claiborne comes into his own after his rookie season.

Of course. And this will only HELP our pass rush I think. Allowing Spencer and Dware to get an extra half second or so to get to the QB. But this is only my opinion.

Our secondary is top 10 now. It would be top 5 with better safeties.

Jenkins won't be with us this season...IMO

I hope he's retained. He still has ball-hawking skills. He's just fragile. He plays with heart though. I'll give him that.

Oh I agree. I'm licking my chops thinking of all of the schemes Rob will draw up now that he has a good secondary to work with.

I'm a Jenkins guy. I still root for him. He just gotta find a way to stay on the field.

Pool is the weakest link. I am no fan of his.

When healthy pool is an average safety. That is all I can ask for, someone who wont make a ton of plays, but wont give up a ton of plays. I also like that he hits pretty hard when people come across the middle.

Intimidation works for me. Roy Williams wasn't a great cover guy. But I guarantee you WRs always knew where he was. :laugh2:
