:welcome: to The Zone. Cool username.

If he leaves Green Bay I want him here. I've always liked the guy and admired the way he plays.

First, it would never happen.

Second, hell no..I dont want that guy wearing the Star...it just isnt right

Besides we all know he cant win in Texas Stadium, if something happened to Romo do you wanna be 0-however many home games Favre starts? Including the playoffs? :D

he'll go back to the Packers and have a terrible season which is what he deserves with his "prima donna" behavior the last few years

Gimme a break, the media and the Packers have put a great deal of pressure on him which makes him contemplating retirement a bigger deal than it actually should have been.

He belongs in Green Bay, its great for the game and the league for him to play with the Packers imo. It wouldn't look right if he was playing anywhere else. I compared it with a friend to when I saw a clip of Troy Aikman at Chiefs camp after he left the Boys.

I think the best fit for Favre is Minn, it's also the last place GB would trade him.

If I'm Minn, I find a go between team. Some team like say Miami who its appears could use him but not really want him.

Then I'd make a deal to top whatever they have to give GB.
You get Favre for a 2008 3rd, will give you a 2008 2nd.

Some of you don't have a clue. I understand it gets tiresome to hear about favre so much but he is not doing it becuase he is a prima donna. He is doing it because he loves the game and everything about it...and it is very very hard to leave something like that when there is any way you can still play.

Should he hang it up? yeah, i think he had a great season last year, a good one to go out on and good to go out as a Packer.

Do I understand why he would want to come back? With out a doubt, anyone who ever competed in a sport at a high level and then had to leave or felt like he was forced to leave understands that desire to come back and give it "just one more go, one last time"

As for the original question, I would much prefer Favre in Green Bay as that is just the way things are supposed to be...if not there I could see him in Chicago but don't think Green Bay will allow it.

As I said in a similar thread, I want him to go to an NFC contender so I can know which team to not take seriously this coming season.

Did Favre steal your girlfriend or something?

Favre loves himself first, and football second, the way he has handled this whole unretirement nonsense is a testament to that.

BTW, found a vid for you, might be able to come up with some new things to talk about.

Don't knock him; Favre could still hurt us, especially if he went to Washington or Philadelphia- teams that are just a quarterback shy of competing seriously.

Add Favre's ability to either of those teams and you could have a potential 11 game winner in the NFC East.

Washington has the offensive line, and Philadelphia has the whole team.
Jeff Garcia showed that Donovan McNabb was the real problem with Philadelphia.

Is he your boyfriend or something?

you're a complete moron on the Favre subject as was shown on the other thread (repeatedly) and have no idea what it is like to compete in a sport at a high level (and we are not talking high school or your company softball league buddy) and have to decide when to leave or deal with being pushed out...so maybe you should just quit talking about things you don't have a clue about.

There you go again, when you obviously can not respond to an argument becuase you are wrong or do not know something you change the subject to something else....

Obviously for some reason you have a personal hatred for Favre and try to trash him at every chance you get...

Please, I layed out my factual argument to you, and you couldn't even respond to it with anything other than your opinion.

Did you check out the excuse-o-matic?

People can talk all the smack they want about Favre but if he ends up in Minn they are instant Super Bowl contenders.
