Where y'all going on a holiday this summer?

- This weekend we are headed to Cherokee, NC to do a little fly fishing

- Next weekend we are heading to Orlando for a week

- The Following weekend we are heading to Key West for some (hopefully Oil free) spear fishing

- End of June we are heading to DC so my six year old can see the Lincoln/Jefferson Memorials and the White House. I'm hoping to hit the Smithsonians if we have time.

- August I plan on going back down the the Florida Keys without the family for some solo spear fishing with my brother.

As we are now nearing Victoria Day long weekend (your Memorial Day long weekend is next weekend), which is basically the official start of summer in Canada, thoughts turn to summer holidays.

Have you booked yours yet?

Mrs CCF used her persuasive skills to talk me out of another Disneyland or Walt Disney World holiday this year and to head back across the pond. We had previously been to Scotland, England and France (she has also been to Northern Ireland and Eire) so she chose Italy this time.

We go to Rome, Florence, Bologna, Pisa and Venice, then back to Rome for 5 days with a day trip to Naples and Pompey.

We leave six weeks today.

So now the countdown is on.

Where y'all going?

Are you going to post some pics on FB??

I leave for Canyon City, Colorado in a few weeks for some hiking, mountain biking and white water rafting for a week. Should be pretty fun.

going to india for four and a half weeks at the end of august then moving to edinburgh when i get back

southern website so I threw in some southern talk

I melt for southern girl accents

I also get to go to SF with my law partners in september for a retreat. Haven't been there in a long time so looking forward to it.

Wherever Uncle Sam sends me. I don't mind. Y'all the taxpayers pick up the tab.:) Thank you very much. Just got back from Atlanta. The Ritz in Buckhead is awesome and within per diem. Going to Orlando, FL for a week in June. I volunteered to go to Ft. Bragg or Ft. Hood for a couple of weeks this summer. Hopefully, I'll get chosen to go.

Going to Japan in Sept for my wife's brother's wedding. Haven't been to Japan in 8 years. Unfortunately, Uncle Sam ain't picking up the tab for that one.

I thought that's what it was.

When I lived in California I never said y'all. Now I say it all the time. I guess my dialect changes with my surroundings.

I say y'all all the time. Of course I'm southern. But when I'm at work or in a professional setting then I say you all or you guys.

Anywho, I hope to go Philly/New York again this summer and maybe another trip to Chicago. My company makes us take mandatory vacation time, but none of it in the summer. So I may put one or both off trips till then.

You All is common in my neck of the woods...some say Yall but more You all or You guys.

However when we go up into PA to visit family...they say You'ins Always cracks me up. I mean Yall is a combo of You and All...I am not sure what combo You'ins is.

My son just left this morning w/ his grandparents on a 6 week motorhome trip. They are driving out of Alaska through Canada and down the west coast through AZ to the Grand Canyon and then onward into Texas.

He is stoked.

I fly out on the 30th to meet them in Orange County for a week of Disneyland/Universal Studios/SD ZOO and Sea World.

OH - and Legoland

Should be fun...Im EXCITED :D

Should be going to New York, Boston, and Philthy. I have yet to venture out anywhere on the east coast. I can't wait to wear Cowboys gear in Philthy. It should be interesting.
