And your comments show how little you know about the game of football. I am no Brad Johnson fan, but anyone who thinks he is the only reason why Dallas lost today is kidding themselves. What I saw from Flozell Adams & Co. today would not work against a 4-A high school team. I don't know if I have seen an O-line that looked as whipped as Dallas' was today. The sad part is that this sorry play is just a continuation of what we have seen since last year. You could have put Romo or any other QB you wished today and it would not have helped. I have no use for quitters and in my book Flozell quit on the team today. He should have been benched by halftime. I don't care who would have took his spot, it is time to send him and the rest of the line a message.
It is the O-lines fault Romo did not play today.
Blame Brad all you want, but those with half a brain know what the real cause of Dallas problems is:banghead:

Typical Brad Johnson fan. Did I say it wasn't all Brad's fault. However, he was the reason the offense couldn't move the damn ball. Three interceptions and passes that were over the players head and behind them.

You just got punked.

Your thread here is to bash Brad Johnson. You are clueless and just proved it.
You punked yourself :laugh2:

Brad made a lot of horrible throws, no doubt, but you can't blame him for lousy defense and a O-Line that can't be still until the ball is snapped. Even the special teamers can't down a ball inside the 10 to save their lives. Paulescu would've had an outstanding game if those guys had done their part. It was pathetic all around. At least Brad led us to the opening score. That should've been enough to motivate the team, but NOT!

I am not a huge Johnson fan but I really felt like he could do a good enough job to get us through at least the Rams and Bucs games so that Tony could get plenty of rest.

Now I know that we've got to have Tony back next week cause we MUST win the next two games going into the bye so that we're 6-3 or we're in a whole world of trouble.

That all said, as bad as Brad did at times today, the O-Line did him no favors, at all, and the defense played absolutely pathetic.

Makes no sense for a cowboys fan to try and brag about being right in this situation. We all knew Brad was no Romo and that we aren't going to score the points needed to win.

Tony Romo almost is this team. I think people got a glimpse of how important he is today.

Havign said that, I thought there might be some good that could come out of this. Primarily, I thought Garrett might have to get a little more creative and get the ball out of the QBs hand faster. I thought the team might have to stand on their own two feet instead of relying on Romo to bail them out.

In the end, the team fell flat on their faces. They played with no heart. They looked incompetent. They quit. This is what Parcells was talking about when he always told that boxing story.

You have 4 turnovers from the QB and you are putting your defense in position to fail. He had his share of sacks as well..... Romo get healthy soon before season is lost with Brad Johnson.

What I saw was a QB that was playing the best he could. He is very slow, his passes had no zip and he looked like he was seeing a real NFL defense for the first time. It will only get worse for him as we are hitting the harder part of our schedule. Funny thing is these games we are losing are supposed to be the easy ones on our schedule. Ironic isn't it?

In addition, we don't have a shutdown defense as you all know. We have a defense that needs the help of a functional offense to help it out when it's getting torched. Saying that, the fact that we gave up so many running yards is troubling. We seemed slow all day and lacked fire! That to me points to coaching and nothing else.

brad johnson = drew bledsoe

This is an insult to Bledsoe.
It amazes me how before the game everyone knew the type of QB Brad was, then when he plays like it, everyone acts so surprized. Johnson is not a moving QB like Romo and does not have a cannon like Bledsoe. A lot of things have to be right for Johnson to perform well and that was not the case today.
Everyone on this board knew that for Dallas to win the entire TEAM would have to step up, which of course did not happen. Bash Johnson if it makes you feel better, but the problems of this team go way beyond an over-the-hill back-up.
From what I saw today, the team looked the same as it did last week with the franchise QB playing.
I have heard a team takes on the personality of its coach. I believe this is team is a perfect example of that fact.:starspin

One of the more overlooked Jones blunders was allowing Matt Moore to go to the Panthers instead of developing him into a quality NFL b/u. Jerry Jones is playing Madden Fantasy GM at this point which is nothing but bad.
