Where's CouchScout?

Nothing was attacking in what I said, nor was I sneaky about it, so you can kill that nonsense. I made a comment which is my right to do, just like it's yours.

I just think it's ridiculous to have a thread like this every week. The guy will post when he posts. If he can't this week, then appreciate when he can.

The reason i said it was attacking, was because when somebody says something like "oh do we have to have one of these every week"

It kinda makes you feel crappy. like damn "maybe i shouldn't post i don't want to come off as an annoying little runt"

I eagerly look forward to his thread every week. Have I somehow missed it, or has he not reported in, yet? Come on CS, get off the couch, buddy!

He is stuck between the couch cushions.

Couchscout is like CJ Wilson. He wants the zone to make him feel special and then he'll post.

I think PMs are a fantastic solution for inquiring where someone might be. That's why the site has the feature.

I don't think I belittled anyone when I questioned why we needed to have a thread like this every week. couchscouts threads are some of the best on this forum, but I don't want him to feel obligated to post them if he doesn't have time to do them early enough in the week. Sometimes life gets in the way of the Zone and I'd rather he did it because he wanted to, not because it's become a burden.

Just appreciate whatever he posts, whenever he posts it.

I think couchscout would prefer a thread he can ignore over a hundred PM's.

Yeah he can thank woodysgirl for getting his PM box spammed.

People post threads all day and everyday. You can't expect everyone to agree with you.

Maybe so, but I'd prefer that than seeing multiple threads of where is couchscout in the Fan zone....every week.

And to be perfectly clear on why I think the way I do. This is from the guidelines:

* All content directed specifically toward another member should be handled through private messages.

http://cowboyszone.com/forums/announcement.php?announcementid=2

I'm not exactly alone in my thought process.

:bravo: I have to agree with Terence Newman700 here...it can be a little intimidating to post due to this exactly...which is why I read daily but never comment!

Fyi, I wasn't aware that it was a weekly nuisance. If CS feels that it is, all he needs to do is say so. If it bothers you personally, don't click on it. Otherwise, I don't need your "motherly" advice.

Lol.. I'm not offering any motherly advice. None of you guys would ever bring out any maternal urges in me.

You might not be aware, but a thread like this comes up every week if couchscout isn't Johnny on the spot with a weekly thread.

As for your "advice" about what I should and shouldn't click, I'll continue to do so, as I feel appropriate, but thank you anyway.

If this were Monday, or even Tuesday, I could half way understand the "Johnny on the spot" reference. It is Thursday, and I thought he has posted by now in the past, hence my query. You're the one that butted in with your snobbish post to begin with. I still fail to see why you feel the need to object to anyone asking about CS's weekly thread. If I want to ask where it is, I will.
BTW, this was the first time I've ever asked where his thread was. If you read the original post closely, I stated that I thought I might have missed it...that was part of the reason I querried, not that I have to defend it, to begin with.

The guy does have a life. He has a job that's quite likely more than full time, and he's responsible to that first. He's got a girlfriend. Mostly though, I think he wants to go over the tape at least 3-4 times before he posts his assessments, and he that takes awhile. Have faith. It'll be here. Last week he posted it Friday night.

There was so much awesome-ness from last weeks game that his post is 300 pages long right now... he's in the process of editing it down. Patience. :)

Because I can...

If my post was solely about you, then I would've made it about you. It wasn't and I didn't.

Anywho, my point was made, so carry on.

FWIW, CS didn't start his weekly thread until Saturday for Week 10 analysis.

I wish I would've hesitated when we drafted Demarco.

Yep, you should have.

The stinch from those posts will definately follow you around for quite some time.

You might want to try bathing in tomato juice.
