A lot to address and some what ifs among the young guys. With Fowler, Williams, and Kneeland in the mix I don't think DE is a flashing red light need, but wouldn't steer away from taking one. You can never have enough pass rushers and looking to next year it becomes a much bigger need as 2 of those guys are approaching free agency. They should definitely be adding guys in the draft.
DT remains a big need and at minimum need atleast rotational guys.
CB: May face the biggest unknowns vs any position. If healthy Bland and Diggs could be one of the better starting duos, but thats a big if. Then they have a bunch of guys behind them that are unproven. Carson could take a step forward but they need not only a stable veteran presence but more rookies in there to compete.
OT: It all hinges on Guyton's growth, you have to believe you can develop him otherwise you have to invest here early as well.
RB: I don't know that they're in a different spot vs last year but must invest here in the draft. If they don't come out with a back on day 2 or 1 this isn't setting up for success.
WR: Tolbert took a big step forward and think he's a fine number 3 option, but can he ascend to number 2? I wouldn't bank on it. They should absolutely bring a unsigned veteran in. The top 4-5 rookies is a much weaker class than in previous years and outside of 1 or 2 guys I don't know how much of an impact they could instantly make.
Right now I see 3 big priorities at RB, CB, WR. Then some secondary priorities at DT and OT, where they could be ok at starting positions if guys like Guyton and Mazi step up but there are valid concerns. Honestly they just need to go BPA across those 5 positions the first 3 rounds, then use day 3 to add guys in the trenches and maybe another corner.
