There was a blurb on their show Raw tonight that said that John Cena has made over 140 visits in granting wishes from the Make a Wish Foundation. That is more than any other person. On top of this he regularly visits our troops. I respect these things.

I'm not a wrestling fan, but I certainly appreciate his contributions to kids that need a break...

It's so little to ask for those of us that are so fortunate... kudos to him for recognizing it...

Definitely a character thing... and he passes the test...

I think the mods here know well that Make a Wish is my favorite charity...

I saw that during the bits and pieces of RAW I was watching last night. I haven't watched entire shows in a few years now but I try and catch a few minutes each week. I watched more than usual last night cause I liked the way they did the whole Slammy Award thing.

None the less I'm a big fan of what Cena does out of the ring with those things. He's a class act, at least he appears to be from all I've seen and read, and carries himself as such in being a great representative for the WWE.

It's one of the main reasons I've got no serious issue with his mega pushes, his superman like comebacks and over coming the odds things, cause the guy is a hard worker, loves the business and conducts himself approperiately outside of the business.

I have gone to 1 WWF show here in Houston and I had a blast. I cheered for all the bad guys and laughed as some around me got mad for pulling for a Russian Commie. :laugh2:

I think the people in the stands are more entertaining than the men in the ring.

Way back in the early 80's when Memphis wrestling was going strong there would be this little old lady, at least 70ish, sitting at ringside. When one of the wrestlers she didn't like would walk by she'd hit them with her purse. :laugh2:

My Great Grandmother was that way. 1st thing she did when she got electricity was to buy a TV so that she could watch wrestling.

This was in the late 60's. The woman lived in the back woods of Alabama with no electricity and had an old hand pump over the sink to draw water from a well. Oh yeah and an outhouse. We stayed with her for a week when I was a kid it was quite an experience.

I watch sometimes... guilty pleasure :

Can't stand Cena though i'm sure he's a cool guy outside of the show but he's just so lame on it.

Chris Jericho is the funniest thing on there these days

I don't watch it as much anymore. Keep up with everything through Figure Four Weekly and the Wrestling Observer. When MNF over, I'll probably start catching bits and pieces of RAW again.

This is my guy.
