#6 Edge (I have my doubts, believe all are gone)
DT-Wyatt (All indications Davis will go in the teens)
WR (I am expecting at least 2 to be drafted ahead of us)
C-Linderbaum (the news of Kelce returning makes him a real possibility)
OG-Green/Zion Johnson/Tyler Smith (Will Green's poor testing drop him?)

OT-none (I expect all Tackles gone, kind of like the edge)
LB-Dean (extremely undersized, but great instincts, won't have Davis/Wyatt in front of him)
S-Dax Hill (swiss army defensive back that can be used as a chess piece)

All indications are the Cowboys want to address their OL and WR with the two top picks, which is why I have them in bold.

Despite their sizes, I believe both Dean/Hill have star potential, but I don't think either player will be in play with the Cowboys.

My top choice still hasn't changed, Green is the ideal fit and can fix our run game in a hurry. I'm intrigued by Burks who I see as a Dez Bryant type of talent, but the run game has to be the focus. Believe there should be a good receiver there for us on day 2, more so then an elite offensive lineman which I see with Green.

I have no idea who will fall so in order:

Tyler Linderbaum The demise of the OL started with the loss of Fredrick
Jermaine Johnson He would equal or exceed Gregory's production last year in his first year.
Chris Olave If we lose Cooper Olave is the best candidate to replace him. He's faster and is a great rout runner
Kenyon Green He moves people out of the way.
Charles Cross Tyron Smith really went down hill last year
Bernhard Raimann See above
Trevor Penning See above

I worry about Linderbaum's lack of size/length. He may have the same anchor problems that exists with Biaz. Don't think any Tackle will be available, same as Edge. Agree, Olave is a good fit for our offense.

I no concerns about Linderbaum.

I think Dean would probably make the biggest impact, though as you suggest, I'm not sure he's in play (not because he won't be there -- I think he might -- but because we're not looking in that direction).

Any of Green, Zion or Linderbaum would also be impactful, and I think they all stand a good chance of being there. I'd say there's a 90% chance at least one of them will be there and a 70% chance that two of them will.

Burks would be the pick that would annoy me most, but I think he's among the most likely picks given Jerry's Arkansas connection. He has the same body as Dez but his combine numbers suggest he lacks the explosiveness (I'm not so much concerned with the 40 time as with his underwhelming vertical). His bread and butter is creating from bubble screens -- that's already been done to death here, without much success, by CeeDee. I'd take a hard pass and look for a guy like Alec Pierce or George Pickens in rd 2 instead (would actually like Skyy Moore over them all, but I don't think he fits the mold). I'm preparing to be disappointed.

I love your top two and agree completely.

The draft’s best center would certainly improve the current offensive line. And he is the one player that would cause me to alter my draft strategy on that front.

I don't know if you remember but way back when the Cowboys were good Mark Stepnoski went to another team and they tried to replace him with someone that was terrible. After four games they realized how important the position was and brought Ray Donaldson in to replace him.

I remember the changeover but I think you’re misremembering that four game part.

Could be I looked it up and Donaldson started 12 games in 1995 and Stepnoski started 16 in 1994.

Donaldson got hurt and missed the last four games and they shifted Kennard over.

Daxton Hill's my #1 choice for potential impact. He has some pretty scary potential if Dan Quinn schemes him in a specially designed role like he did with Parsons.

I don't expect any of my targets to fall to 24 but the offensive linemen are pretty much plug and play on day one.
Linderbaum played exceptionally well against bigger defensive lineman in college and will hold his own against NFL defensive lineman. I believe he is bigger than Stepnoski but not sure if he is as strong.

To be fair, Dez didn't have great workout numbers either. Do agree, probably see a receiver taken sometime on day 2.
