Which coach bill or gibbs gets there players more motivated to play..

if you look at both coaches,and there ablility to get the best out of the players even when the season is lost the past 2 seasons,who do you think gets the most out of the players..gibbs 1st year back went 6 and 10,the team played strong down the stretch,parcells was 6 and 10 the same year and missed the playoffs and his 2nd year against gibbs his team seemed to regressed with terrible performances down the stretch..the 2nd season for gibbs he leads a playoff march,parcells team looked like it quit down the stretch..is that a coaching issue?

just looking the real football people on this board,not the homers..trust me im a homer for my Commanders..but if fact is fact,i have no problem in being honest...example..your cowboys kicked our butts for the longest and i hated it,but it was fact..there was nothing i could say!!! its not hard just be honest!!

my answer is - i'm not sure. i do know that dallas had some turnover and some injuries to deal with. they installed a new D (not sure why when they were #1 2 years ago- someone can tell me if they like). last year, they got up for the panthers- a good team, then melted vs the lambs.

i'm a little surprised that parcells hasnt had more success thus far, but i can at least understand that there are other factors. i also think that dallas should be pretty good this year.

They were already out of the playoffs and had nothing to play for......it's not a good reason to play like that but that's what happened.

The difference between the Boys and Skins last year was a simple one-- the Skins stayed really, really healthy until the very end of the season, the Boys didn't... in particular, they had their linebacking corps just decimated, and of course linebackers are the heart of a 3-4 defense...

"Motivation" had nothing to do with any of that...
