Which of the Detroit L's made you lose sleep, break something, made you go ape **** ect......

Carr Day
or
Romo/Garrett Day

The Romo and Garrett episode left me in disbelief. Of all people to start the drama for us. Freaking Bobby Carpenter. Can't believe we kept throwing the ball.

Carr's meltdown was bad also. You would think after the first 150 yard they would triple team Mega, and not leave Carr 1 on 1 most of the time. Then Stafford comes in on the last drive like superman. Smh

Those come to mind but I also remember the one with their WR throwing the ball into our star after a TD or something like that. I don't recall the paticulars or his name for that matter but do remember him being a nobody.

I remember that. Furrey or some dumb name like that. He desecrated the star. The current team might do something about that.

As far as past games, I prefer the 2007 game where we came from behind and MBIII and Witten were the heroes. I was there and I went home happy.:)

The defense previously proved they could not hold a lead of any size, so the offense was forced to keep the pedal to the metal in that game where they kept passing. The play choices and Romo's sense of acceptable risk were bad that day though, not their finest performance.

this game may be similar, how big of a lead is enough? Hopefully the Cowboys' ball control offense and run game can milk the clock without them going pass happy.

Neither. Because I didn't believe in either team.

Understandable.....

But, the fashion in which we had lost when we were up huge. Did not bother you, even a little? If I remember correctly, had we won that game, we were in the playoffs. Didn't we get knocked out the playoffs by 1 game?

I hear you. I do believe, or at least I want to believe, that this D can at least make them work, and burn up clock before they score. The past teams would just roll over within a minute.

The Bobby Carpenter game for me. One of romo's worst. Just infuriated me seeing that bust of a LB pick him off.

2011, I was in the Stadium we were having a great time ribbing the Detroit fans in the crowd. They weren't even wearing the teams Jerseys or anything. They came in the stadium in regular street clothes and were quiet as a mouse until the 4th quarter.

I get that feeling too, maybe it's just wishful thinking, but I think this defense can force some turnovers. They'll give up some yards and a few scores but overall it will be a winning performance by our defense this time around. :)

No sleep lost, but the 39-31 home loss to the 2-13 Lions in 2006 was certainly embarrassing.

Thanks for bringing me down...for know real reason.

Both were bad in different ways. The 2011 game was early in the year with Romo playing the game with broken ribs ( I think the puncture lung was close to healed by the?).Anyway, no business throwing it so much after halftime. Ugly. I was pissed, but no sleep lost.

Last year...another early to mid-season game....we drive for what should be the winning score with 1 minute to go. And they turn around and drive the length of the field in that one minute to win.
Same thing though. I was pissed off but didn't lose sleep over it.

Kind of like RS, I didn't feel that those teams were remotely good enough to win in the playoffs. Still, they were bad loses.
