Which is the better unit?

I still say it is DL as it was all of last year.

DLaw looks awesome right now and he will free up everyone for 1v1s.
Crawford is what he is right now and gets consistent pressure if he doesn't finish like we would like to see.
Price is going to be a beast this season and the best NT we have had since Ratliff.
Collins is moving back to the 3 where he is most productive.
And then you have a bevy of guys looking to step up from more sure things like Taco to the bevy of guys like Gregory, Ward, Jones, Tapper, and Ealy.

We don't need Irving to get where we want up front.

We have by far the most talent on the team at Cb. Now, if we only had a S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's really stupid is people clamouring to move Byron to CB. We have tons of talent at CB, we need S's, so let's move a viable S to CB, yeah, great idea!!!

Really great question, only speculative at this point but we shall see. I like the potential of each unit. Truthfully and unfortunately, it will come down to their health as the season progresses. Knock on wood but the Cowboys of recent seasons have been devastated by multiple injuries to the same units.

Lose two guys in the same unit for an extended period of time and any of these units go from potentially great to a recognized weakness subject to being exploited by opponents.

Injury and/or suspension is almost inevitable, so it comes down to....

I thought he should have been a corner from day one. La'el should have been a rt from day one. Good news is we seem to be getting away from moves predicated on crisis management and more based on sound decisions.

:thumbup: ,,,BUT,that's twice the number of players that I'd envisioned when first reading the OP,as my initial thoughts were very similar to yer' post PM

* I'll play the linebacker card out of the three units,based solely on the amassed talent shoehorned into that particular group.

His skillset says otherwise.

With #90 commanding extra attention from the opposition,that should allow Rod to exploit the strengths of #54 in the blitz,should it prove effective on any particular play, be credited to the LB corp from a casual glance,yes?,,,

* it's no secret I'm a #95 fan& wish he'd be starting in game #1
