I had a tough time choosing between the 2022 and 2023 season. But I think the team got more exposed in 2023 by the l8kes of the 49ers, Bills and the Packers. So the 2022 season is more disappointing because we won a playoff game and had it not been for Dak, had a chance at being the 49ers.

I don’t count 2020 or 2024. Didn’t have any serious expectations either season. 2021 was the most pleasantly surprised because they surpaseed expectations.

McCarthy was a complete failure. All of his years was disappointing. The Cowboys lucked into the 2nd seed in 2023 and we laid an egg against Green Bay. 2023 was the year I stopped caring for the Cowboys.

2023 was his chance to secure the job for years to come. He had to make progress in the playoffs and his team laid an egg.

That's not all on him. I blame the front office more than the coaches because I believe that's where the blame belongs. I keep using this example because it is easiest to see. Quinn practically begged for Bobby Wagner to be signed here and the Joneses instead resigned LVE because he was cheaper. LVE, who had an injury history, got injured and we ended up having to play a safety at linebacker because he was the best option we had. Quinn goes to Washington and his front office goes and gets him Wagner.

The 2023 season that ended with the most embarrassing, lopsided playoff loss in franchise history and it was at home. McCarthy should have been fired after that game.
Your stealing my material.

23 TEAM, at home and we played like a JV team.

Easy, his first season here.
Our defense was worse than a speed bump.

'23 because McCarthy should've had his team ready for a 7 seed. They were anything but ready to play football. That was the one time it was truly on McCarthy.

The other times it was not being able to generate offense against the 49ers and the 50/50 plays not going our way.
