2021.

This team would have been in the Super Bowl with better QB play in the postseason. And Cincinnati was not a very strong opponent in the SB.

I don't think we would've gotten by the Rams.

The Bucs...maybe because their defense is nothing special and they play to outscore you. Which is a better kinda game for us.

Our best win was against Mac Jones that year and our offense was held to 7 points in 3 quarters against the Cardinals.

Not sure what made you think we were better than that stacked Rams team who played in the same division as the Cardinals and Niners.

But if we would've gotten past the Niners who knows what could happen with the Chiefs going out early via the hands of the Bengals - that could've been our chance.

He was light years better than JG. May be about to enter a period where you wish for the MM era.

No coach was going to get a championship here. Maybe a better coach gets a step further but I'm not hung up on that. He got as much out of this as I expected when he was hired.

2022 for me.

I thought we had a solid team. We went into Tampa Bay and finally won a road playoff game. Yeah, I know it wasn’t the toughest opponent, but we got that monkey off our back.

Then we went into San Francisco. We were actually hanging in there, and Dallas was driving the field right before halftime. A touchdown, or even a field goal, would have given us the lead and momentum heading into the second half.

What happens? Yours truly throws a pick. Then another one later. Our defense held San Francisco to 19 points (just 9 until the fourth quarter), but once again, our QB choked.

The fact that there are choices in disappointing seasons says a ton about this organization.
