Which model to you yields the best chance at SB?

No, they chose Chris Jones. Interior pass rusher is much more important to super bowls than WR.

I meant that they kept one high pay receiver (Kelce) and that they decided they could succeed without Hill (they were correct). They were keeping Chris Jones before paying Hill. However, they still felt they required at least one high end and high pay receiver (Kelce) to make the passing game viable-which is why he stayed on even though he was getting older.

They could have likely paid them all with lots of void years and restructured existing contracts. They did not want to pursue that route because they wanted more flexibility going forward. I agree that the interior pass rush is extremely important to a SB contender-though I would argue that overall the defensive line unit is what is so important defensively (pass rush, short passing game, batted passes, and run stopping).

Yeah,
@ShiningStar's take seems to once again minimize the importance of the one position handling every offensive snap and what that QB did with those opportunities.
The easiest counter to that argument is do those teams even reach the SB without the performance of that guy handling every snap of the ball?
I followed this up with a quick coaches and quarterbacks names list on my post #37.
The common denominator to winning Super Bowls and even making Super Bowl appearances alot of times is hall of fame level quarterbacking, coaching or both.
Everything else is secondary.
It’s amazing that so few on here see this.

Lol

Now posters are wanting QBs with legs?

Smh

What happened to 6'6 with a cannon? We all know what happened, eye test was all you needed, not statistics. A runninging Qb can pick up easy yards for short yardage downs or can pick up easy 1st downs. It's almost unfair to have a running QB these days....but cannon, guys, cannon.

"Go young, innovative with coaching!" As 66 year old Fangio murders graceful legged GOAT Mahomes in a Super Bowl.

The zig and zag is a yawner. It's played out.

Oh, absolutely. It's just that DT is the key, and you cannot be ordinary there(Unless you have a Bellychickens coaching)
