Which position(s) of need do you think will be the hardest to fix in the offseason.

The spots are unanimous:

OL
DB
ILB
Coaching

Which of these do you feel we can fix pretty easily in the off-season with the draft/free agency? Which one are you the most concerned will be a spot of need again next year?

I'm actually more concerned with our secondary than our OL. There are some good OL in FA and we'll have good draft spots.

O line simply because there are more pieces to the puzzle and there is that old adage of Continuity! I think we will see at least 3 new starters there if there is a serious move to correct the units faults.

is all of the above a choice?

I would say OL, since we need 4 new ones at least. not many options in FA and can't draft 3 good ones at once

Definitely O-Line. Besides the fact that we are bad at drafting O-Linemen even when we do, that unit needs a loooooot of work.

The offensive line, simply because it has been such a disaster for so long....

I hesitate to even place the blame on Houck. Things have looked the same around here for years. When you focus on Oline play, it can be a beautiful thing - to see five guys move in unison, watch one of them pull to open that last bit of daylight, etc....when watching good running teams it's really quite something to see.

But it's so rare that we ever see something like that in Dallas. In Dallas five enormous men "block" whoever they feel like blocking, they all end up within 10 feet of each other, don't open up a thing, and our backs have to Houdini themselves just to get back to the LOS. It is (to me) the absolute most painful part of our team to watch.

well considering how long we have been trying to replace Woody in the backfield maybe safety?

Oline.

I think because it has more parts to it and those parts have to work together.

Although I think if we draft high and can not trade down...it will probably be a DB or DL we take with the first pick.

ILB
SS
Nickle CB
OL

In that order

OL I say we go FREE- Koiser/Draft Pick- Gurode/ Costa - Mankins -Wild Card is going to be the development of Sam Young

hardest to fix will be coaching because JJ is likely to go with another puppet.

I think he shares a good portion of the plethora of blame going around, but he's got plenty of help in that department too.

Garrett doesn't do a 'mauler' line coach like Houck any favors with his pass-happy offense and uninspired running plays. I can't blame Houck for the idiotic playcall where the 350 lb Leonard Davis is pulling, and I can't blame Davis for stinking at something he's ill-suited for.

But Houck isn't motivating these guys in any way, shape or form either so I think he has some culpability in that regard. That and I think his style may be too oldschool for today's NFL.

Just my opinion.

How on earth is safety not on that list? I think by far that will be the hardest piece to fix

Edit***you listed DB...I will go with safety to be specific
